If you add it again for a second or third time in chlorine it will be fully regenerated. For me it usually takes 2 times. Basically more time in clean chlorine will guarantee 100% regeneration
Hi Marios!!! Yes, it's true... but believe me this one is really saturated. It absorbed lots of tannins from the botanicals these last few months without being regenerated. Then I still did another regeneration and it didn't improve hardly at all.
Well done again bro👍😎 very informative video. I feel as if my bog wood is still releasing a hell of alot of tannins even after 6 months. I can really notice it when looking down directly through the top of the tank and obviously when I empty my containers of siphoned water into the bath tub it is yellow brown colour. I'm just wondering if purigen will help this as activated carbon believe it or not did nothing what so ever to help pull the tannins from the water column lol. Anyway, great video and continue doing your thing man. 😁
Hello my friend!!! Sorry for the huge delay in responding. I've been a bit away from social media and the PSK aqua project, but I'm slowly making a comeback. Responding to your comment, I store the regenerator bags in a plastic container with clean water to not let the resin dry out.
Hi Hugo!!! This purigen I used was already very saturated and did not regenerate completely. In the first two regenerations you get a "dirty white" color, meaning it is not completely white like new, but has a yellowish color. You can tell it is regenerated when it is that color.

Hello my friend!!!
Thank you very much...
I'm pretty sure purigen would help with that.
So after its regenerated you store it for the next month right? Thanks for the video

@@PSKaqua Thanks for your reply 🙂
How do you know Purigen is really regenerated?
