Hw answer-: ∆ AOB and ∆ COD,
∠AOB = ∠COD … [vertically opposite angles]
∠OAB = ∠OCD
Therefore, ∆ AOB ~ ∆ COD
So, OA/OC = OB/OD
(5x-7)/(2x+1)=(7x-5)/(7x+1)
Cross multiplication
35x^2 +5x - 49x-7 =14x^2- 10x+7x -5
21x^2 -42x+x -2=0
(X-2)(21x+1)=0
Hence, x =2 i.e positive value
