I'm an American. I have no idea why, but I find it remarkably easier to learn this shit from a guy with a British accent. I probably should have just gone to school in the UK, come to think about it; would have learned my lessons much more effectively from teachers with accents I think.

I'm currently building a huge Skyrim DLC mod with a new Island, new experiences, new people and factions, and continuation to the main questline, Dark Brotherhood, and Thieve's Guild questlines all thanks to you.
The first time I tried this in game it didnt work, but then I opened the Kit again and previewed the recording and generated a lip file again and then saved and went back in game and it was working fine. I didnt know what you meant by 'reload' at first, whether you meant the game or KIt but I did both. Thanks for this tutorial

so for the recording step, no file appeared under the audio setting area, yeah just redid the steps to 8:47 again and its still not showing up. The voice type is not appearing, it still lets me record and preview though. Edit: figured it out, I missed the drop box on the actor

It's 2021 October and you can easily add dialog with xvasynth mod and a special plugin for it to create fuz files on it's own...modding rn is simple..all I missed was the seq file generation..after that things workd

Good video! I've learned quite a bit. I have a question if you don't mind me asking? Can anyone answer this if they know how. How do you make dialogue only appear in specific locations for say a follower. Like I want the dialogue to disappear and only show up say in Whiterun. I thought all I'd have to do was put the character Getisid and Getiscurrentloc-Whiterun.. doesn't seem to work. Dialogue is showing up everywhere still. I want to be able to ask my follower questions about specific places while at them. I got idles working but doing this is not workking...I'm assuming there needs to be different conditions added.

Or how Lucien interacts with Kaidan. I for the life of me can't find answers on how to do this fully. I know you have to put them as an alias, and fill out properties.

When I press ok after I Typed in the Id theres an error message: "Form's ID is not unique! Previous is type Actor." What does that mean? I set my character to unique.

I had one question about creating a dialogue and I addressed it to the Nexus's Forum, where they advised me to watch the DarFox's video and said that: "You are a great person!" (I absolutely agree with this). I wanted to create a monologue and did not know how to do it, it turns out that Creatine Kit has an "invisible answer" checkbox, I did not know this and it seems that your tutorial does not mention this. But I have another question: In some mods, I see dialogs in the "Player Dialog" window, but there is nothing in the "Dialog View" window. How it's done? Do you have a tutorial on how to create a dialog without using "Dialog View"? (my english is very poor and i find it hard to search in english resources) Or maybe, can you advise to look at the tutorial of another guy who is just as talented as you?
Can anybody share me that soft? Most websites contains only restricted version of CK, there's too few tabs in quest window, FE dialogues are absent, even on steam. Pls link some good CK.
Daedric Johnson I ended up using the old kit as well but for some other unknown reason that crashed as well in different workflows of the kit so in the end I gave up on creating quests and custom voice followers.

I got him from the tower before bleakwind barrow. I want to re-create him as a standalone follower but when I duplicate him he doesn't talk randomly. He usually says things like "two threes, fool never saw me pull that ace out of my boot." How can I gain control of the random things they say. And also. When you approach someone and they have certain things they say. Like I duplicated Fianna to make her a maid in my player home but she does not say" don't go tracking dirt on my clean floor." I really want her to say that. But also I need to remove "ain't nobody high and mighty in these halls,except in the jarl." How can I do those things?

So will this tutorial even work if I cant record any talking? Or is there another way to add dialogue I should be doing?This seems really complicated. What if I dont want to add an actual voice?

After i record my voice and click save the LIP and WAV file value still is N not Y. So it doesn't work. Do you have any idea why? i tried recording audio file with other programs create wav with 16bit and 48000hz, then it find the file, in game it works but lips wont move. That's because i don't have lip file, and in CK i cant generate lip file because the box/button for it is grey. I searched internet for 8 hours now and i cant find solution.. please help me
You just need to download the file from where you want and open it with some unzipper like WinRAR or 7ZIP. There you will usually see some folders like textures, meshes, scripts or just data. Go to Program Files/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Skyrim and drag everything into the data folder.

You have to use condition '' IsLocationLoaded''' and then pick location you want and thats all

Creation Kit 64 don't create the lip file and the audio dont play ingame ...

it is a bug with CK 64, i had to buy oldrim again to be able to use the audio stuff ...
