That is a gorgeous well designed knife. I am going to have to save up and maybe sell some stuff to get one. This is the model that will be perfect for me made by We. You guys nailed the design on that knife.

So how fragile is the finish on the flamed version? My knives all get carried & used so I'm not afraid of a reasonable amount of wear & scratching but the way you talked you made it sound like a day or 2 of rubbing against jeans while clipped to a pocket would scratch & wear down the finish quick. If that's the case what about clearing (DuraCoat, CeraKote, etc) over it? Absolutely love the designs of your Roxi series & the size is perfect for me but don't want it looking like I dragged it behind my truck by day 2 of looking at it!

Hey Zelrick, I purchased one prior to your review which is rare but I did view others before I bought this prehistoric looking beast. As impractical as it may appear I love it for its unique feel and look, I would have gone with a contrasting solid color to break up the fire finish but that's just my personal opinion of course. Hows my Chimera? Thanks Again!

What uses would u recommend this knife for? Self defense?
Splitting logs and chopping down small trees.

Against The Onion-Skinned Ones, yes.
Slicing some cheese or fine sausage comes to mind. And a sweet pepper.
Chopping, slicing, dicing, self defense, general Tom foolery, and trimming the loose threads from your daughter's lacy dress.
No port side carry..... dang.
You would not believe how hard it is to get companies to make a few lefties. We did it with the Malware, you may want to check that one out.
