This is so beautiful and sad at the same time😔 I’m so mad at the Erin’s that they made Thistle such a disgusting cat just bc they want ppl to hate him. I mean - why do we need Spottedleafs Heart? I know they wanted to spread awareness of grooming/ sexual harassment but they did it in a completely wrong way! I mean, Spottedleaf was so scared of Thistleclaw that she ended her apprenticeship as a warrior and started one as a medicine cat. So she simply just run away from him, never talked about it with any cat, stayed quiet, no cat seemed to realized it and in no other book it was mentioned anymore. What kind of message is this actually for young ppl? Nevertheless I still believe the Erin’s should have let Thistle the way he was in Bluestars Prophecy. There he was a very good villain (he was a bad person yes, but at least he wasn’t a p€do there-). I found him very interesting in Bluestars Prophecy bc he seemed to hate every cat beside his mate Snowfur (which is cute but also a red flag xD) but he also was a great antagonist for Bluestar/-fur so there was no need to made his character so dirty (I was so shocked when I found out about Spottedleafs Heart, bc I liked Thistle as a villain before that but after that all I feel about him as a character is disgust.)
