You’re right, yesterday I found a comment from a lady stating, “I want a Godly man.” When I visited her page she has a playlist with the name “Secular Music.” By the videos alone she was not lying being secular music. Came back to her comment and wrote, “You need to align yourself with God. ‘Seek first the kingdom of God and His Justice, everything else will fall in their place.’ By listening that type of music you’re opening a portal for Satan and his demons into your life.” Let’s hope she does what she needs to do to accomplish anything on God’s name and honor.

My wife is a third generation preacher's kid, very pure in heart. I was a druggie hippy when I met her. As a five year old she prayed that God would give her a husband that was a preacher. I got saved her in her parents church, married her. 48 yrs of marriage, 35 yrs starting a church and pastoring it together! God used her to heal my broken heart and together we have touched many lives for Christ! Think about it!

Yes yes yes! This is so true. I love being single because it does, indeed afford you the quiet time to really tune into God‘s instruction. I have been with the same man since I was 18, we have grown together, our faith has grown, and we are going to have a son. Also, remember Matthew 5:3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Don’t ever feel like you are further along than other believers because God will show you just how much you have left to learn. Sometimes we get so interested in looking for what we seek that we don’t recognize the thing that God puts in front of us. The Bible tells us to seek and you shall find. That is what we are taught, but sometimes we’re too busy seeking through our human eyes that we don’t miss what God shows us what he has put there in front of our spiritual eyes. Unfortunately we can do all those things without giving ourselves completely to God to change us. The Bible talks about this. Hence reason to watch people’s actions and not what they say. You can’t say you love God and not exhibit the fruit of the Spirit. Loving God requires death to self (flesh) and picking up your cross to live your life for him so that you can bear fruit. As someone who is very spiritual but not religious, I think there is some truth to what you're saying for this girl/girls in her situation... though I suppose it goes much deeper than we are assuming here, probably more complex than what we assume so we should reserve judgement since it's not something hurting anyone, just her/their spiritual development journey, maybe it's exactly where she needs to be at the moment... the good thing is she is looking and has made her life revolve around spirituality rather than materialism... I'd say she's doing good in my book - ie. not everyone's goal/journey is that of a nun/monk/priest/etc - even though I've essentially crucified myself spiritually, I still allow myself to be extremely flawed as an individual since truly the framework of god or the spirit is such that it exists to guide us out of our mischievious selfishness and to a greater purpose in life... so we remain flawed regardless of how spiritually inclined we are, but we get really good at catching ourselves degrading and thus immediately correct ourselves to get back on track and even further along... perhaps that's what is or will happen for this girl/etc. @@abelmcguire1951

God chose a man for me that wasn't even close to believe in God. But he listens and his faith is growing. He trusted me right from the beginning and turns to God more and more by himself. It's beautiful to witness the unfolding of his own path in God. Even when he doesn't recognize it, he speaks the wisdom of God to help me grow and walk on this path. As God wants more souls to awaken to Its glory, i think we should lead those souls ready to open their heart to God but unaware yet. It's not easy, even challenging, but so rewarding in God going out of our comfort zone.

When I was around 15, I asked God to send me the perfect woman to marry. And I got married at the age of 35. Before I got married, I had several girlfriends, but after a few weeks in the relationship, there was a sign from God telling me that I got the wrong person. I was never desperate to get married. I have been married for over 12 years, but family, love, and faith are still growing.

Isaiah 60:22 NLT “…when the time is right, I, the lord will make it happen”. I am editing this because of some comments and further comments that may appear. I am currently using my NLT study bible. Which says this “The smallest family will become a thousand people, and the tiniest group will become a nation. At the right time, I, the Lord will make it happen” I’ll give some context but first I’ll use the full version from the KJV Isaiah 60:22 KJV “A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time.” For the end of that chapter, in context, is the Lord saying your people shall be righteous, you shall inherit the land forever because of the work of my hands from which i have planted. So that I may be glorified. In Verse 22 the Lord identifies himself as the covenant God of Israel. His identity ensures that it’s not gonna happen until it happens and when it happens it’s going to happen quickly. All by his hand! Praise the Lord! Now why did I post this verse in relation to the video? First, Praise Jesus because his word is alive! He can bring his word through the mouth of a mule and bring his word through….his word!! Now In short, Jesus told me this very word because I am not ready to be a steward for one of his daughter’s hearts. I have been wrestling with him. I asked him, “why do you close every door?” And he said when the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen. So, after seeing this short I felt led to share this verse because I believe he will use his word to tell someone this very same thing! And if that’s you praise our Father! 😊
I knew how to be loved treated in way I wanted to be from young kid thanks to my well adjusted loving parents who I trusted & honoured. We were shown not just told good examples of how to live take care of ourselves given respect trust protected. Regularly told how much we were loved wanted made their life ❤ I truly believe because we grew up in such a close connected family that it definitely contributed to both my Brother & I growing up to be strong independent proud & appreciative of our lives given. I definitely can say I only had good young men I dated who always looked after me well because of the way I was raised/treated...all thanks to my parents who were the best 💞

My husband isn't big on talking about theology like I am, he will when it is applicable....but he has cultivated the Queen of virtue: wisdom, and his silent sermons to our 10 children via his actions--protection, provision, and tangible love to his children--has taught me how to love Jesus and live as I believe.
I’m literally going through a break up rn but I know it’s bc God has something better for me. When me and my ex started dating I wasn’t with Christ. I felt this. I was brought back to my faith bc of a woman, but we ended up parting ways. Shortly after, God showed me how she wasn't gonna get me into Heaven, and I could not be more thankful for God opening my eyes. Yes, I was about to say the same as these comments in that you just have to grow together. And sometimes 1 really helps the other and oftentimes. If the husband isn't as far along or mature spiritually, it helps the wife to mature. If you'll cling to God and let God grow you first. There's just so much to say about this.
When I met my wife I was so lost. Not an atheist, but just so mad at the world, and no direction. She spoke of God to me and introduced me to Christian music. On my birthday 15 years ago she took me to see Third Day in a small venue. I was drinking the whole way up there, not knowing she was going to surprise me. I had been battling alcoholism since a young age and when I saw the sign on the theatre that said, Third Day live, I just broke down and cried like a little kid. I walked into that concert smelling like beer, buzzed, wondering what people would say. But God was with me there. Shining His light on us. Pouring Himself into my brokenness. Blessing us. He saved me. He blessed me with an amazing wife and best friend. I say this because I believe that sometimes a good woman can also lead a man. She had faith in God, in our marriage. We now have a strong marriage and family, with God as our center. Our kids know God, and this story too. I want women to know that they also have so much power to help a man, to influence a man in a positive way so they can see God in you, and seek Him. A woman’s faith is just as powerful as a man’s.

Idolizing a "man" and I will leave the stereotype of what that "man" looks like, is opening a door to something that is spiritually unhealthy. In other words, this is the confirmation that any woman who is in search of that perfect man is really in need of our saviour, the only perfect man. Imagine finding a so called perfect "man" , God forbids especially in looks and as time goes, the "Christian" lady becomes disillusioned and guess what another reason why there is rampant divorce in the Christian community. May God have mercy on anyone who is in it (in the faith) for a marriage. Your faith is so much more than that and marriage, although a good thing, should not be idolized nor a partner worshipped. I hope you find that man. In my experience, when I met someone who was perfect on paper, we had zero chemistry. My therapist pointed out the right partner isn’t simply the person you have the most in common with. It’s the person whose flaws are compatible with your flaws! My wife and I have almost zero hobbies in common, but we agree on the big stuff. As importantly she compliments and covers all my flaws and vice versa ☺️

God is allowing this to happen so that you can trust in Him for what seems impossible. What seems impossible to you, is possible to God :) I felt God leading me to spread the gospel to guys I have talked to in the past and tell them to stop being lukewarm. I chose God over the flesh and a desire for a relationship. As a result, I earned some people’s respect because I was willing to put God before the person. Furthermore, I am not worried about finding a man that is more spiritual than me because I know there are many out there. If you u choose to worry, you are not trusting in God completely and you are making room for the enemy to attack your mind. Faith is trusting God without seeing His promise in our lives (yet.) God wants to grow and strengthen your faith, not let you worry, stress and fear that a godly man like this is does not exist. They do and I have met men who are not afraid to preach the gospel and be bold for Christ. It’s just not God’s Time for you yet. He’s still working on you: growing your faith and building your character. The Bible says “trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He shall make your paths straight.” If your not trusting in the lord with ALL OF YOUR HEART❤️ your path will be crooked., I hope you understand. It’s important for all Christian’s to seek Christ and not earthly things because these things are distractions that keep us away from Christ. Most people want a man so they won’t feel lonely anymore, but God could be calling a women to spread the gospel through her marriage. How would she be prepared for that task if she’s not reading the Bible and praying daily instead of worrying she will never find a true man of a God who is compatible to her? No. God calls us to “seek peace and pursue it.” Do this with all your heart, pray, fast, read the Bible daily and their will not be room for the lies of the enemy in your mind. No, I am where I am spiritually because I pursue God not perfectly but because I am seeking I am finding. It isn't because of 20 years of experience, it is intentional pursuit of the Lord and that is what she is looking for.
Not true I've been pretty far along in my faith since I was 15. I've walked with God (Jesus) the past 32 years since then and still single, but I was in a place (Air Force) where there were very few if not many Christian women at all so I'm single. I'm in seminary now so I'm praying and hoping things change. Been praying for that wife for almost 30 years so I know what it is like to walk alone with God. There are mature Godly men that are young, and a woman isn't going to attract that kind of man unless she does the same. I've met plenty of women that were 10's but I wasn't attracted to them, but they were to me, because they were not walking with God.
I love that she's honest and that she's on the path of her journey.. then again where he is in his life within his journey . That through grace that whomever continues to grow even better and stronger yet independently yet together in that journey as one sharing this in a lifetime... it isn't easy .. at all ... but as harder without it ...

This is a very true statement. I'm studying at the same seminary he did but, I was in the armed forces much longer than him. I've met a few women here so far initially I wasn't attracted too but after spending time with them and talking to them I find them allot more attractive. A deep love for Jesus (God) and humility are very important traits to look for in a woman. As a guy you should be the same. The fruits of the spirit usually fall into place in both lives when they walk humbly with Jesus. Not only can you see it in their life but in how they treat other people. Attitude and humility are two very important traits in a marriage. You also have to learn to love unconditionally for a marriage to work or else it will eventually fall apart.

I didn’t know God when I met my wife, she prayed over me everyday to be saved. When I found God, we were married. I knew God set us apart for each other, but only in hindsight did I understand how long His plan was in motion.
I am slowly knowing God and I made a deal with myself that when I decide to start dating again, one of my requirements for a date will be her believing in God and actively praying but 95% of single women in my country don't believe in God so it will be difficult.

I think a lot of women in the church now are quite honestly scared of going back to their old life, so they set these ridiculously high standards so that almost no guy would ever be eligible, and those that are would probably not choose her, just speaking statistically. You watch as she gets older she'll start reconsidering her hard stance on this topic
If I understand her correctly she’s saying she wants a man that’s spiritually yoked to her or above so that she may be led vs having to teach her man about God. She’s wants to stay in her feminine role not just spiritually but period. She doesn’t want to be in a position that compromises her feminine role spiritually and physically. That’s what I got out of what she just said.
As a married woman, I totally disagree with this attitude. This is exactly why so many people are permanently single. You want a guy to be "farther along" than you are. But the spiritual life is not linear like that. And also a man can totally be a spiritual leader even if he is "not as far along" as you are. Edit: I totally agree that men should be the spirtual leader. I just don't like her attitude. It would be better to look for a humble leader than a spiritual know-it-all.
She doesn’t and can’t understand yet that marriage is not a dream with a dream boat come true. Marriage is hard and your spouse will disappoint you and you will disappoint them. It’s the journey … the process … working into it together that makes it Beautful in it’s time. This stunningly beautiful young women is facing some harsh reality checks about human beings. So the question I have for her is this. When the new wears off and you realize he’s not perfect what are you going to do? I think it's better to find a good man who shares your values and wants to walk in faith with you. He doesn't need to be on a higher spiritual plane. I think most women are naturally more "spiritual" than men. My husband of 30 years is good and kind and lives his faith. He doesn't necessarily talk about his faith much, he just lives it. I'm a proud and thankful wife.

The most important thing is to live in obedience to God, to live a life that is pleasing to him. 3. Knowing scriptures does not mean you understand the Word of God, although to understand the Word you must know the scriptures. This is a self righteous perspective. Even the word tells you your faith can cultivate more in your spouse. Don’t miss your blessing because you got in your own way chasing someone you deem as more spiritually elevated than you. That means you’re searching for your own spiritual elevation in a man, instead of in the Almighty.

Not necessarily. It would be very difficult and frustrating to be a woman who's mature spiritually and be married to a man who's way behind you spiritually. You don't want to be in a position where you as the woman have to teach him or wait on him to mature. This is coming from a woman who is now divorced because her ex was spiritually immature and stayed that way, which led to all kinds of treachery in our "marriage."
Im a 25 years old man, i never have in my life girlfriend or any intimacy, my goal is just to be happy and make spiritual growth, make healthy childrens, wish i will met a girl with same world vision 🙏🏾

That’s a great way to meet people in a non alcohol environment. Which equals a non superficial environment. You will make more meaningful connections and better selection of potential people to become closer too

Came back to her comment and wrote, “You need to align yourself with God. ‘Seek first the kingdom of God and His Justice, everything else will fall in their place.’ By listening that type of music you’re opening a portal for Satan and his demons into your life.” Let’s hope she does what she needs to do to accomplish anything on God’s name and honor.

My wife is a third generation preacher's kid, very pure in heart. I was a druggie hippy when I met her. As a five year old she prayed that God would give her a husband that was a preacher. I got saved her in her parents church, married her. 48 yrs of marriage, 35 yrs starting a church and pastoring it together! God used her to heal my broken heart and together we have touched many lives for Christ! Think about it!

My wife and I both had our own list of what we wanted in a spouse and God laughed at us both and none of what we were looking for was on either of our lists besides being a Christian. You may THINK you know what you want but just listen and watch to what God has for in store for you and you’ll TRULY be blessed by it. Just make sure you’re both equally yoked and they love God more then anything else and then pray about it, He’ll let you know!

I am thankful to GOD for marrying a man who led me to the faith in JESUS CHRIST. We always talked and discussed about GOD and HIS WORD. One thing he always tell me, in whatever I do, think and say always give glory to GOD.

As someone who is very spiritual but not religious, I think there is some truth to what you're saying for this girl/girls in her situation... though I suppose it goes much deeper than we are assuming here, probably more complex than what we assume so we should reserve judgement since it's not something hurting anyone, just her/their spiritual development journey, maybe it's exactly where she needs to be at the moment... the good thing is she is looking and has made her life revolve around spirituality rather than materialism... God chose a man for me that wasn't even close to believe in God. But he listens and his faith is growing. He trusted me right from the beginning and turns to God more and more by himself. It's beautiful to witness the unfolding of his own path in God. Even when he doesn't recognize it, he speaks the wisdom of God to help me grow and walk on this path.
As God wants more souls to awaken to Its glory, i think we should lead those souls ready to open their heart to God but unaware yet. It's not easy, even challenging, but so rewarding in God going out of our comfort zone.

When I was around 15, I asked God to send me the perfect woman to marry. And I got married at the age of 35. Before I got married, I had several girlfriends, but after a few weeks in the relationship, there was a sign from God telling me that I got the wrong person. I was never desperate to get married. I have been married for over 12 years, but family, love, and faith are still growing.

For the end of that chapter, in context, is the Lord saying your people shall be righteous, you shall inherit the land forever because of the work of my hands from which i have planted. So that I may be glorified. In Verse 22 the Lord identifies himself as the covenant God of Israel. His identity ensures that it’s not gonna happen until it happens and when it happens it’s going to happen quickly. All by his hand! Praise the Lord!
Now why did I post this verse in relation to the video? First, Praise Jesus because his word is alive! He can bring his word through the mouth of a mule and bring his word through….his word!!
Now In short, Jesus told me this very word because I am not ready to be a steward for one of his daughter’s hearts. I have been wrestling with him. I asked him, “why do you close every door?” And he said when the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen.
So, after seeing this short I felt led to share this verse because I believe he will use his word to tell someone this very same thing! And if that’s you praise our Father! 😊

I knew how to be loved treated in way I wanted to be from young kid thanks to my well adjusted loving parents who I trusted & honoured. We were shown not just told good examples of how to live take care of ourselves given respect trust protected. Regularly told how much we were loved wanted made their life ❤ I truly believe because we grew up in such a close connected family that it definitely contributed to both my Brother & I growing up to be strong independent proud & appreciative of our lives given. When I met my wife I was so lost. Not an atheist, but just so mad at the world, and no direction. She spoke of God to me and introduced me to Christian music. On my birthday 15 years ago she took me to see Third Day in a small venue. I was drinking the whole way up there, not knowing she was going to surprise me. I had been battling alcoholism since a young age and when I saw the sign on the theatre that said, Third Day live, I just broke down and cried like a little kid. I walked into that concert smelling like beer, buzzed, wondering what people would say. But God was with me there. Shining His light on us. Pouring Himself into my brokenness. Blessing us. He saved me. He blessed me with an amazing wife and best friend.
I say this because I believe that sometimes a good woman can also lead a man. She had faith in God, in our marriage. We now have a strong marriage and family, with God as our center. Our kids know God, and this story too. I want women to know that they also have so much power to help a man, to influence a man in a positive way so they can see God in you, and seek Him. A woman’s faith is just as powerful as a man’s.

Not true I've been pretty far along in my faith since I was 15. I've walked with God (Jesus) the past 32 years since then and still single, but I was in a place (Air Force) where there were very few if not many Christian women at all so I'm single. I'm in seminary now so I'm praying and hoping things change. Been praying for that wife for almost 30 years so I know what it is like to walk alone with God. There are mature Godly men that are young, and a woman isn't going to attract that kind of man unless she does the same. I've met plenty of women that were 10's but I wasn't attracted to them, but they were to me, because they were not walking with God.
I love that she's honest and that she's on the path of her journey.. then again where he is in his life within his journey . That through grace that whomever continues to grow even better and stronger yet independently yet together in that journey as one sharing this in a lifetime... it isn't easy .. at all ... but as harder without it ...

This is a very true statement. I'm studying at the same seminary he did but, I was in the armed forces much longer than him. I've met a few women here so far initially I wasn't attracted too but after spending time with them and talking to them I find them allot more attractive.
A deep love for Jesus (God) and humility are very important traits to look for in a woman. As a guy you should be the same. The fruits of the spirit usually fall into place in both lives when they walk humbly with Jesus.
Not only can you see it in their life but in how they treat other people. Attitude and humility are two very important traits in a marriage. You also have to learn to love unconditionally for a marriage to work or else it will eventually fall apart.

I didn’t know God when I met my wife, she prayed over me everyday to be saved. When I found God, we were married. I knew God set us apart for each other, but only in hindsight did I understand how long His plan was in motion.
I am slowly knowing God and I made a deal with myself that when I decide to start dating again, one of my requirements for a date will be her believing in God and actively praying but 95% of single women in my country don't believe in God so it will be difficult.

Been there, problem is we tend to esteem ourselves better than we are In the theology camp 😂. Ive been married for 5 yrs now he isnt some theologian, but he is sound in his doctrine, and loves the Lord, and me and our kiddos. We both are growing in Christ. I think a lot of women in the church now are quite honestly scared of going back to their old life, so they set these ridiculously high standards so that almost no guy would ever be eligible, and those that are would probably not choose her, just speaking statistically. You watch as she gets older she'll start reconsidering her hard stance on this topic
If I understand her correctly she’s saying she wants a man that’s spiritually yoked to her or above so that she may be led vs having to teach her man about God. She’s wants to stay in her feminine role not just spiritually but period. She doesn’t want to be in a position that compromises her feminine role spiritually and physically. That’s what I got out of what she just said.
It is also very important to focus on your own spiritual growth while you wait for you spouse

As a married woman, I totally disagree with this attitude. This is exactly why so many people are permanently single. You want a guy to be "farther along" than you are. But the spiritual life is not linear like that. And also a man can totally be a spiritual leader even if he is "not as far along" as you are.
Edit: I totally agree that men should be the spirtual leader. I just don't like her attitude. It would be better to look for a humble leader than a spiritual know-it-all.

She doesn’t and can’t understand yet that marriage is not a dream with a dream boat come true. Marriage is hard and your spouse will disappoint you and you will disappoint them. It’s the journey … the process … working into it together that makes it Beautful in it’s time. This stunningly beautiful young women is facing some harsh reality checks about human beings. So the question I have for her is this. When the new wears off and you realize he’s not perfect what are you going to do? Stand by your vows and one self proclaiming your well along in your faith and fight for it or run away crying that you made a mistake?

I think it's better to find a good man who shares your values and wants to walk in faith with you. He doesn't need to be on a higher spiritual plane. I think most women are naturally more "spiritual" than men. My husband of 30 years is good and kind and lives his faith. He doesn't necessarily talk about his faith much, he just lives it. I'm a proud and thankful wife.
But living the faith is & comes off higher than talking the faith in the hallmark of faith. Your dude is a great person

This is a self righteous perspective. Even the word tells you your faith can cultivate more in your spouse. Don’t miss your blessing because you got in your own way chasing someone you deem as more spiritually elevated than you. That means you’re searching for your own spiritual elevation in a man, instead of in the Almighty.
I was also thinking that if everyone held out like this, we would never find our partner because if we look for someone deeper into their faith than ours which there will always be someone who is lesser in their faith, therefore you will always be single.

Not necessarily. It would be very difficult and frustrating to be a woman who's mature spiritually and be married to a man who's way behind you spiritually. You don't want to be in a position where you as the woman have to teach him or wait on him to mature. This is coming from a woman who is now divorced because her ex was spiritually immature and stayed that way, which led to all kinds of treachery in our "marriage."
