I'm a teen dota player. I have been playing for 1.5 years now and understand the game well. I was stuck at 200 MMR playing almost every role and a variety of heroes. I didn't seem to climb MMR at all. I decided to stick to a role and a single type of hero for all my games and It worked so well that now I'm 1.2k in just 1.5 months. Wow
Pos 4 support works the best for me as there is not much pressure on you for the majority of the game and you just have to look at mid during runes and at the 10 minute mark and you can make a huge difference.

You actually did yourself a favor for playing different roles first. Now you can familiarise other heroes with their skills, combo and etc. You can even predict their next moves if you know a hero/role well.

I coached this guy too. :D He played Phantom lancer and he played ok, he farmed a lot, i talked him when to tp and he listened to me and farmed really well, but they could actually finish game at min 25. Game lasted for 60 minutes because of atrocious teamfights... Just some super random teamfights where i scream at him don't go but he just saw an easy kill but didn't saw Tp close to potential kill. It was rough... He won.
Sometimes I feel the guy, but I actually have been thinking like gorc said "if your teammate not good, then the enemies team also not" So I start practicing only 1 hero like ember, and walah the match sometimes still hard but I can get like 40 wins with 10 lose by only one month as ember
The noob part is the only thing he listened to Gorgc ahhaahah the guy is real animal

i dont play ranked games much. All i do is turbo/all pick, which counts as a match. maybe he play 1k ranked games and he is guardian and playing 5k all picks! just maybe
being from lower brackets One advice you can gie to people is to push waves.. it literally changes the fights that happen because you forced their main guy away from team. this one concept earned me huge mmr. I play pushing and elusive heros.

Happens to me every game in Herald SEA xD If they know how to farm in the available space they usually end up carrying the game or just farm the entire game with a 30min battlefury.
If you he doesn’t learn anything, at least you showed him the right way to BM.

@@youtubeaccount1718 i tried that but the problem i get most games is that people would pick greedy heroes around my cheese pick... i snowball, then they start feeding and it goes down hill there since i cant bounce back via farming since theres 2 cores who is eating the farm and no one defending
so im usually stuck playing position 3 nowadays
and go is it hard since im fully dependent on wether my mid reacts to my plays or leave me to die... most of my wins are when i pick snowball offlaners that jsut go ham like timbersaw, or carries like wraith king
I‘d actually love to be coached by Gorgc. I started Dota in February 2020 and got addicted. Playing ranked since November. Trying to leave the Herold bracket but there is so much to learn. I usually go for the recommended guides (builts) and play along with them.

Maybe he's playing the wrong role i mean when i played rank the top 3 pos seemed to make me feel pressured but when i played pos 4 as ds it seems to work for me. Now im guradian 2 and the only problem is getting matched up with crusaders or some smurf.
He's so bad. Gorgc should not tell him its ok to make mistake. Tell him, do hes not going to do it again. Those small mistakes accumulate to bigger advantage to enemy. morover, hes playing core. If u play 4 its ok to make some misplay. Just dont fuckup the team fight. I gained mmr that way, since i cant really play corr due to ping. It's not as punishing to make mistake as a support, as long as you get something out of it (e.g: making space, tanking gank, etc.)
And if hes the most advanced hero in term of gold n exp, if he makes mistake. The enemies will get more and his team will get an even bigger disadvantages

if you want to gain mmr in low rank, you have to focus play one role on 1 to 3 hero like morph, tinker, or even support like lion that have high impact and carry your team. first get yourself out to atleast 3k because most of the time you cant depend to your team bellow 3k. i have never been bellow 3k, it just from my observation.
You cant depend on anyone below ancient 3 to use their spells properly. You gotta play a hero that can do shit in a fight HARD. Thats how i climbed up to divine. Then you can play different styles of heroes.
well there is always a limit to how hard you can carry. If you are 500-1000 MMR above your bracket, you aint good enough to win solo anymore. If you stomp your enemy hard enough in these games, the turnover gold/xp will bite you in the ass once your team starts diving. I see this so much as pos #5. Stomp the lane and be 30-10 in kills. Then team gets overconfident and wont do rosh/objectives and instead they start diving for kills. Bam 15 min laters you lose.
Playing in ancient - divine atm and this happens so frequently. I've found the higher your behaviour score and communications skills are, the easier it is to win and "carry".

I've started climbing a lot as soon as I stoped coping about team being bad while my mmr is not 5 digit. When you are dogshit at the game you don't even know what good looks like. Games below 5000 are won by a toss of a coin more often then not. A draft of poorly synergized Heroes will shit on a comp that works well if the poorly symergised team has someone who won lane and is leading the team on mike. My advice for the trench as a trench denizen myself, if you do good in lane, you are the team captain now. And if you did bad, shut the fuck up and try to make up for what you did or farm in a corner until you can show up again. Nothing more annoying than a 0 5 player trying to wrangle the team when we see where your ideas got you. But a leader is needed to tard wrangle us to do what is required, and the best leader in a team of 5 randoms is someone who did well individualy.

Guys, that player is a streamer and we also tried to coach him like few months ago sincee we told him that investing so many hours into this game without any results and only stress + frustration is a bad thing. He replied with the fact that he has games where he goes 20 kills and 0 deaths, therefore he is not bad but his team. We explained simple and basic game sense theories to him, how to climb up etc. The guy is like perceptive like a stone.
As guardian in sea, I can say that some heralds are much better than that shyt
You can say whatever you want guys but jugg with sup pos 5 kinda lost this, enemy has riki but team doesnt have single ward in fighting area or few or more dusts, jugg just died there last times for no reason

Well to be honest, I was from 200 MMR back in aug 2020 (i just had my own pc back then so i have a lot of time to play, i left dota 2019 by the way so i just had it recalibrated). The problem with people in this bracket are griefers and flamers. They blame teammates more than their own gameplay. Its like a 5-man-flame-team. What I did was mute the hell out of them, played carry morphling and WK ONLY and freakin grind my way out till got 2k MMR. On my way to 3k now by the way. Still lot of flamers but atleast ppl here plays better support. Haha

just why we can't see cs/kda in player perspective?
in low rank sometimes they dont know what is timing,how to fight and where to fight,luck of team contection they feel they're good but not, high ground, item and momentum and not aware of the map and also counter heroes, where to wards they just like to play all the heroes they like also farming the whole game but not master 3 or 1 hero. i just observe pro player and immortal player they know those. that why low rank are not reaching immortal rank. in low rank some of them are rage players. i hope in low rank remove the mindset of being feeling a pro but not pro at all.
