I'm not gonna lie, follow alot of big tech reviewers, but the calm feeling watching oliur vids are something else. Intros always on point as well. The content is so relatable and interesting.
About the USB charger: It is sold as 40W, but it can only deliver 30W over the USB-C port. The remainder is 2x 5W per USB-A port. The USB-A ports are also mounted upside down, normally the "open" side faces upwards on a USB-A port, but not here. Otherwise, its fine for phones and tablets, but with only 30W it is not quite enough for most laptops, unless it is while it is switched off and not in use. At 5v it can deliver 15W, but at 9v it can deliver 27W. The USB Power Delivery standard has become a jungle for the user.
I haven't watched a lot of your videos in the recent weeks/months, but I have to say, you look good bro after your recovery and the lasik etc. And after this video definitely going to watch more!
Am I the only person here just to hear his voice and see the great camera work? i don't even care what he is talking about, I just love how he sounds. so relaxing and dare I say sensual
The v1 Symfonisk lamp is so much nicer than the v2. It has a much more premium build and looks better. Fun tip - you can stick a Philips Hue bulb in the Symfonisk and have remote/color-changing lights in addition to the Sonos functionality.
The only real issue I have with the v1 is the lack of shade swapping. I have 4 of the gen 2 speakers and my wife collects different shades for them and changes them as switch between decor for the seasons. It's a deal breaker for me on the gen 1, although I do feel that it looks better.
He was talking about the cable, not charger. Cable that is not up to task could have connector melt into port of the device or catch fire. I have Anker Gan prime 60 watt charger, it gets very hot when carging power hungry devices. 100 watts will output even more heat, that's basic electricity physics.
Sort of. The power draw (watts) is determined by the device that's being charged, think of the device as pulling the power. Theoretically, you would thus fry a charger that has a too low wattage. But I guess most modern chargers are equipped with electronics to limit the current in that case and protect the charger, so it'll wind up charging more slowly.
1. Anker GaN products have active shield measuring Temperature and regulating output accordingly for safety 2. USB-C universal use Was only possible because of the ability to Programm functionality and therefore Control& Regulation into the cable itself to prevent any kind of "frying". It would only shut down any Power drawage
I’ve had my eye on the bekant storage since you first showed it in your old office tour vid. it took IKEA a year to restock it here in the US and they drove up the price by 100$. Also I’d like to recommend the saijan table top from IKEA aswell as the markfrost marble bulb base
Slightly off topic: what’s that magnetic light you attached to the black trolley, please!?? Love the vid by the way, lots of things to check out on my next visit to Ikea
Great video, thank you. Maybe you could mention prices in these videos too? Appreciate that might make these videos less internationally accessible, but you are also linking to the UK Ikea site :D
I like their electricals in general. I have a Symfonisk shelf speaker I've hacked to drive a ceiling speaker in the bathroom. The latest Solhetta LED bulbs are insanely efficient - I have a load of 2 watt GU10 spots and all other brands seem to use 3 watts for the same light. The fact they stay so cool also means they are not stressed and should reach their stated life of 25,000 hours. I have had 2 Koppla 3 port USB chargers for years with one permanently plugged in to power a clock, these are quality. They are now sold under the Smahagel name and are only £5.50 for something that's well made and you can trust to be safe.
Man I went to see about getting some things delivered to assemble a desk earlier today, $300 delivery fee. 😭Wish we had an Ikea in town, would be so much simpler.
Yeahhh their delivery process is silly, that's why Amazon, Best Buy, Home Depot and Wayfair gets majority of my money, but I am driving 3 hours to my nearest IKEA in the morning tho. 🙃
It's sad that there is not easily accessible ways to shop Taobao or PDD in Europe. Merchandise there are so much better than Ikea. That's why Ikea is doing worse in recent yeears in many China market.

no wild music or exaggeration, just a minimal and straight to the point vibe. love it
Exactly! Completely agree with you.
Idk why but the outro song gives me warzone vibes

Great timing haha, I just moved into a new apartment. Appreciate the input on the floor lamps too. Thanks for this and the other great quality vids
Love this video dude. Makes me crave IKEA food 😂
You are not going to get your Macbook "fried". If a charger doesn’t give out enough watts the Macbook will just charge more slowly.
yeah, that's when I closed the video :))) "fry my macbook or fry the cable" so dumb
He meant that the cable would fry up/the MacBook if 100 watts were tried to be send through the cable

Love the trolley. I have 2. One in my office and one in the garage. Well made and super convenient.
I really like the painting behind you. Where can I find it 😃?
A shoutout to Becki and Chris, it's like my youtube worlds are colliding :) Love the video man!
Do you have the name of the magnetic light you attached to the storage unit at 5:40?
What’s the name of the light bar that you had on the ikea raskog utility cart. Would be great to have one on mine.
Great video and great selection of products! Really interested in some of them, if not all, Haha! :D
Such a great video Oliur. Ikea always has great products for use around the home.
what govee floor lamp do you use- basic or lyra???
That USB-C cable is 3A rated, so 60w max at the highest PD voltage.
So odd that IKEA don't sell black accessories for the peg board. Looks kind of weird with the black-on-white stuff.
The desk lamp looks proper 👌
I ain’t going to lie to you, I love IKEA.
What is the brand of your T-shirt?
Hey, good video. Where is you black shelf from ?
Great video, thank you. Maybe you could mention prices in these videos too? Appreciate that might make these videos less internationally accessible, but you are also linking to the UK Ikea site :D
Great picks 👌

Hey Oliur, are you interested in record players? I feel like it would be something great to see on the channel.
Great video! I guess I'll be making a trip to IKEA this weekend :D
IKEA Markus 👌
First time watching your video. Was drawn to the channel because of your thumbnails. Also, you sound a lot like Jay Shetty

It's not grey, it's black 😅
@@Oliur well, how did you make it black then 😂?
@@darrenhaken It came black from IKEA lol.

Where did you get the black, white, and orange print in your background?
I had the same question. I did some research and found out its from Posterlad.
Ikea = My new religion

Prefer me a best minimal clean looking wall paint color bro
My god, I just got my first apartment in NYC and the timing of this couldn't be better

Video: "The Real Cost Of Cheap Wood | IKEA | Wood Industry | Sustainability | Documentary"
shit really crazy
you seem really surprised
Ikea usb cables are a waste of money. Bought a bunch and all failed within 6 months
Anker lies far too much about their charger wattage ratings. Don't trust them.
Sponsored by Ikea
I actually bought every item with my own money.
Unable to hear clearly
Turn up the volume
Why you wink quite often?
You know this Video is straight garbage when he recommended tools from Ikea
These products are ass 😅
Useless.
Thx for inspiration and @beckiandchris it truly does ❤
