Carlena's interpretation, of the main character being in existential crisis while many things are happening around him, was very on point. Although the song is upbeat, the lyrics aren't - the protagonist feels stuck - existing rather than living. Just before the dance break, Silvester sings "I don't want to dance, but I have to.."

Last month during 17th of February Silvester Belt with the song Luktelk , in english translation would sound like Wait for a bit , won entire lithuanian national selection and will be heading to steal the show in Sweden and maybe some people who likes Eurovision for years did not agree with me , but i as lithuanian proudly can say that this massive popular song , with brilliant lyrics , lighthing , and choreography are my winner of Eurovision 2024 🇱🇹💛💚❤️

Can't wait to meet Little Rusty! Hopefully he will make an appearance in a future video 😉 This song has a nice, chill vibe that I enjoy more as I listen to it more. First time it didn't do much for me, but now I really enjoy the laid-back bop that it is. I'm sure it will qualify for the finals. Lithuania always does well at ESC.
You should hear The Roop's entry for the national selection. It's called "Simple joy" and it's so darn cute! This entry reminds me of last year's from Serbia, Luke Black with Samo mi se spava.
Shame you reacted to the video on the ESC channel since LRT, again, sent the winner's performance for upload, as they did in 2022 with Sentimantai. But the song is still absolutely great.
Oh, if you have the time, I highly recommend seeking out 2nd place from Eurovizija LT, "Impossible" from Shower, absolute stellar piece of songwriting.

Thanks for the reaction! ;) Just to respond to the first girl - this performance was a repeat after he was decleared as winner, and (as he describled the feeling) 'he was flushed out to Cosmos'... so that's why his emotions in the face is bit different (bit too happy) that it should be according to the type of the song and lyrics :)

This song is competent, but I feel it is more of a decent addition rather than any sort of a contender. That performance had confetti, but no fairydust.
