- Bahalike is a village near Sheikhupura where the old ancestral house of famous Indian Punjabi singer Ammy virk has located . The old Haveli comprises the area of 1 acre is now inhabited by the natives, but they have tried to keep it the way it was before partition . No need to change naqsha or structure just follow original brick white wash and repair of damaged areas to maintain. Ammy virk should do it as he's original owner of this beautiful historical mansion. It will comes out as an amazing infrastructure

Masha Allah what a beautiful haveli! A sign of our most beautiful real culture, unity, love, care, respect and acceptance! Makes me cry to see these nostalgia buildings with great and beautiful history! Those days were our real traditions, culture and our true nature. Not what we have become now "addah teethar aur addah behtehr" half Pakistan/Indian and half Western! I salute to highly respected Master jee who has been so humble and intellectual to see the real value of this beautiful haveli to keep it as it is and not to demolish. I hope deep in my heart that Singer and actor Ammy Virk when he comes to Pakistan, he can donate some money so it can be restored completely in it's fully and original state so they can come regularly to visit it whenever they want. After when it is fully restored it can be used also for tourist to come and visit and stay here for a very reasonable price just like a low budget hotel. I am pretty sure it will be full house especially by his fans Insha Allah

I wish one day I should visit my elders Haveli in LUDYHANA, I have heard lots of stories about that.
Same my grand parents also from ludhyana i ve lot of stories heard from my mother but now my mother is also not with us too 😣😭😭🤲 old memories are too gold
@@wajihamaham4968 thank you Wajiha for sharing your story. My Mom and Dad went there 14 years ago. They had a wonderful trip. That Haveli is still in wonderful shape. Unfortunately I don’t have any pics. I was in US at that time. Mom’s one of the Sikh servant lived there. He also raised my mom. That families three generations lived in our Haveli. He had three sons and all three are doctors. When Mom visited he showed moms room and her trunk etc. there was 12 rooms. Sardar Suran Singh has closed 4 rooms and put every belongings in those rooms rest of the house he used. One interesting thing he shared that my Grandpa was supporting his family and kids till they became doctors. I never knew this and Mom didn’t know either. When Mom went there, suran Sing gave the keys of the Haveli and told his kids that “The real Khanum Jaan and owner is here…” that was a very great gesture from him. Suran Sing died at the age of 97 . But he proved that he was KHANDANI GUY. He showed Mom her room . But the interesting thing was when he opened Moms room there was a trunk, and it was locked and he had its keys 🔑. He opened it and Mom’s stuff was in it. Her wooden dolls, her Galla (piggy bank”), her red and green bangles, her Real Gold Ear rings, and some another stuff. Mom told us that she cried so much. Sardar Suran Sing and his Sons and wives and kids were extremely emotional 😭 at that time. Sardar jee insisted Mom to take it with her but Mom didn’t bring anything. She gave that trunk with all other things to his granddaughter.
There are many other things which mom has shared. I will share it sometime later.
I am writing a book 📕 in which I have written all these thins as well in one chapter 3, Kabul to Ludayhana to Wah.
May Allah Badshah bless her soul and Sardar Suran Singh. They were good people. One day I hope I would visit and cherish my elders history.
I will also try to discover one secret which she shared with me and try to find it. I only know that secret. She didn’t even ask Sardar Suran Singh. But my Mom told Suran Singh that if my son visit than you must open these rooms for him and keep everything intact as you did so far. Sardar and his Sons promised. So let’s see when that time comes. I just want to see and discover that secret.
