Need to get the Deutz in my bobcat skid steer going. Bought a new injector pump but haven’t installed it yet. One fall it worked then in the spring it didn’t.
Nice! A+ Deutz quality engineering. To me, air cooled is the way to go for engines in this HP range. No cooling system issues to ever worry about. Just keep the cooling fins and oil cooler clean and keep good belts on it.
subbed you gona have a big channel one day. Question for you. There is a dozer up the road, am gona try and start it as a project. It has what looks to be a broken return line between the hydrolic tank and pump. It is very thin. Could I mend it with just some rubber fuel line. Presure wise, would that be ok. it is going into the top of the tank. Same for the coper fuel line below going into the injector pump. Again the presure there should be low right?
That’s right, if it has a hydraulic filter it will be on the return side and could possibly be a blockage scenario. Also be sure the tank vent/breather is clear. That can build unwanted pressure on the tank and return hose. Food for thought if your quick mend gives you trouble
I have one in a Ditch Witch backhoe. A great little engine. 35 hp.
A deutz engine Startss always

A hydraulic return line has no pressure as long as there’s no high restrictions for flow. The fuel line should have no pressure
@@rustyaddiction495 Ah thanks is what I thought, just wondering what you mean with high restrictions. Thanks again hey.
Ah I thought about it a bit, you prob are saying as long as there are no blockages in the rest of the line, right.

Say Doytz not doootz. Should fire up. Good simple rugged engine.
