While listening to the 1st singer I felt as though many generations of my Irish Grandmothers were singing to me at the same time from across a green valley yet unseen.
I love it. Although we're Americans, my wife and I both have a lot of Celtic ancestry, hers is mostly Irish, and mine is mostly Scottish. When I hear either Irish or Scottish music, and either of the Gaelic languages, something stirs deep within my Celtic soul, and it invokes very strong emotions for me. Somehow I feel like a very Celtic person, and I feel that heritage very deeply. A few years ago I started learning a little bit of the Irish language (I couldn't find a source for learning Scottish Gaelic, so I learned a few phrases & words of Irish, since it's supposedly close). I've watched this video about four or five times now. It's beautiful.
John Terry I'm irish living in florida this 2yrs or so I miss Ireland so much I will return to the old country next year a I can't be without it.Some can leave forever but me i yearn for my home and all its heritage.give me a wee Irish country road any day to wonder and ponder down.
Well, I bet the tenants who were turned out to enable room for sheep, and the victims of the Irish Famine (whose cottages are being shown off) thought these were "Aesthetic Realms", too.

Beautiful cottages and music.government should fund these cottages to keep our heritage alive we have lost so much in the past.
@Derick Murphy. Need the thatch. If some scientist could come up with a way to make them safe, then insurance companies would cover them.
