Found your channel the other day and I'm in love! I would love to integrate a habit tracker into this goal tracker because some of my goals are strongly related to forming habits! I would love to pay for a template that takes this gamification + a habit tracker that adds onto the levels with rewards for each level, et cetera.
Hello, first of all amazing video it helped me a lot! Had an idea for the 'leveling up' code. Below is the code. "🎖 Level " + (round(prop("No. of Completed Goals")/10 - 0.5) Basically for every 10 goals it levels up, just like in the video, with out a level cap. It is then put into to a round function so it rounds the decimal. The '- 0.5' is so it doesn't round up before u meet the 10 goal threshold. Hope this is useful.
I found out that the formula in 11:25 can be let(level, mod(prop("No. of completed goals"), 10),"🎖Level " + level) and the number 10 means how many goals need to be achieve
this works after level 1, but level 0 instead returns levels 1-9 for completed tasks 1-9. Have implemented it though and I hope it works well onwards and upwards!
I have a question, I have a deep lack of self-awareness as to when I complete tasks that I actually deserve some kind of break. Is there a way to trigger a counter to go up 1 number for example on "break token", and then a checkbox to return it down to 0? This is how I was running my gamified to-do list on sheets, before I discovered an amazing notion template which I'm now using (and which I've encorporated this levels system into, thank you so much for this!)
For those who is struggling in the level section, you may need to do these: 1. Use commas after each level 2. Comparison Operators: The comparison operators should be >= instead of => Good luck
That's pretty awesome! Thanks, I followed through to the end. Life Zones/Areas is also one puzzle that was missing in my Notion setup. One thing I'm still confused with is, in your second brain dashboard you have 1) Projects and 2) Goals. And under both of them you have tasks/steps. How do you differ between projects and goals? For example, under Projects, you have "Complete Duolingo Spanish course" and under Goals you have "Get to B2 in Spanish". What (kinds of) tasks do you put under which one? I'm on the edge to getting your second brain setup on your store and I hope your response to my comment will help me make the decision. Thanks again and keep up the good work!
I’m glad you enjoyed the video! In the template, I’ve included tons of written guides as well as approximately 1 hours worth of private videos that explain how the template works in detail. Goals should be long-term objectives that you want to achieve. The deadline may be months or even years away. Projects are shorter-term efforts that have a shorter deadline and usually they feed into a larger goal. Using the example you picked up on, I have a long-term goal of getting to B2 level in Spanish so to achieve that goal, I came up with some short-term projects I could do to help me achieve that goal including taking the Duolingo course. If you want to break the project down even further, you can add tasks to the to-do list and connect them to specific projects. Hope this helps!
Hey I know you receive many messages like this. But trust me when I say this. Thank you so much for this, you have no idea how much I appreciate it because I really wanted to learn this
Just finished following along with the tutorial, was a total creative blast! I've been looking for this ever since I have found this here Notion. Can't wait to try and apply it into my daily life, but thanks so much. Your content is 100% helpful!
How do we tweak the level formula when the number of completed goals needed to complete a zone differs? For example: In making money I have 5 goals that need to be completed and in exercise, I have 2 goals to achieve completion.

This is soooooo soooo good. Iv set a great one up. Thankyou. Literally thanking God. Have you had a go at something like leagues? Or divisions cause ive tried and I need 2 if statements cancelling out each other. Like on the way up I need it to only go up one level if I get the points over a week. And the same going back down if I dont meet it. Iv found a way around with a few manual inputs but is there a coded way? 😅
Once you've set up the page, you can click on the 'share' button in the top right hand corner and type in their email address to give other people access :)
@@creative_cove Sorry, clarification. I want to use this on a multi-person team level and not individual. How would I be able to allow multiple people to use at the same time to further create leaderboards to see who is in first place, second, place based on team driven goals? Its about 140 people who would be using.
Hi! I was just checking this tutorial and is super cool :) Will implement it on my Notion. Just wanted to know if the number of goals checked can be increased in more than 100, just to put a higher level range and i just needed to check the video again and found the answer hehe. Thank you again for this! Been looking for something like this for quite long. Ps: sorry if my english kinda floppy :)
Here again! Just wanted to say that I implemented this on my notion and works totally fine with the system that I created before (P.A.R.A System) So the thing is, I made a Mix hehehe and it works so good. Just thank you again. These videos are changing my life forever! Ps: I didn't suscribed last time because i forgot to. Now I did :))
Hey, thank you for making this awesome template! I looked through your store and I couldn't find this template being offered by itself. Instead of using a checkboc coudnt you use a status property on the Task list
Yes, you definitely could if that suits you better 😊

Why low quality only available on this vedio? How can we understand it?
I think it might be your internet connection as the video is available in 1080p HD. I just checked on mine and it works fine
