As much as I respect and appreciate Chisgule’s knowledge and wisdom of the game, I do feel at times he might be a little out of touch with the f2p experience lolll.
I would really love for him to some day see a f2p account through. I think it would actually make his videos better and more insightful in a broader spectrum.
You have to have a lot of free time in order to make a strong f2p account. Pretty sure he doesn't have the time to spare.

he is always talking about f2p... but I just realized that he not understand what f2p mean
I'm going to disagree on removing Charles from the equation. He's actually still quite good expertised, and even decent non-expertised. If you have a 5522 or so lvl 60 Charles in the mix as a F2P, you can actually do some work with that.
I also don't think that in the case of F2P, Charles should be discounted simply because you get his heads in the tavern. It will take *forever* to expertise him that way. I have a couple of accounts that are well over a year old in which I still haven't gotten close to expertise on Charles from keys, and I have played them actively that whole time.
However, if you put a few universals into him, you can actually get a useful commander out of it. The combination of heads from keys and a few universals can actually give you a usable commander for a F2P, whereas using only the universals that a F2P typically gets on another commander is unlikely to yield a useful commander.
Charles should *definitely* be in the mix if we're talking F2P here. He is easily the best option for those people.
One other thing on Constantine... In most kingdoms, F2P players will not be able to unlock Constantine in MG. The top 15 spots are typically taken by spenders, and even most of the top 50 spots in many kingdoms are taken by low-moderate spenders in many kingdoms. Most F2P won't get him unless they save gems for card king, and Constantine doesn't show up there until much later. I don't think that it's realistic for most F2P to plan on getting - and skilling up - this commander. They really ought to be focusing on Charles IMHO.
100% agree with ya, i'm F2P and been playing for about a year and a half and i still have my Charles at 5512 (Solely getting from keys) and i wasn't able to get Constantine cuz MGE is crazy for f2p and even if i had unlocked him i would not spend my Universals on him cuz he's not as useful IMO, i went for Richard instead which i'd say is a much better choice cuz it kinda gives you best or close to best of both worlds (garrison/PvP/PvE etc)
Richard/YSG/Khan would be my advice for F2P fellows cuz i personally have gone with Khan and Richard and next would be YSG.
I am Not a old player in this game. but the way might gov is I agree with you f2p are not going to have cons easily whereas Charles is very good and workable

@@vinceminay4954 Majority F2P won't waste their gems on Constantine because many don't hit t5 and the ones who do also usually work on very usable commanders....like it or not f2p also like to go for field battles cuz there won't be much fun if all they can do is support with buff and debuff commanders.

@@GGReaver Yes...The whole Factor thing...Is damage factor affected by the number of troops you have? By the damage the enemy took(which is directly related to the number of troops you have)..? Too much questions...It's all in the algorithm, and I think knowing how this works is very useful knowledge...I hope chisgule cracks the formula although it's very hard

I think you nailed it Chisgule, I'm currently working on Constantine 5511 with my universal sculptures and Martel 5543 from daily chests and keys
It was so interesting! xD really was worth the hype!!! didn't disappoint me one bit! the best part about it was mostly that the combos weren't the ones i was hearing 24/7 from the other youtubers and all...there were some really fresh advices there! specially the ones about Constantine regarding f2p players! really enjoyed it and will make sure to go exactly as you said! i'll keep saving for his mge
Hey Chis really like this set of videos you are doing on commander pairings. Could you think about doing one where you show an all legendary commander parings with just one of them expertised? So example maybe it is "exp." Constantine with a 5511 Richard. Hope you like the idea. Keep up the great videos!!!

I don't think that advising free to pay players to focus on MG commanders is reasonable because the top spenders always get the most sculptures cause they can afford the most speedups. Commanders that you can get through the wheel or gold keys are much more feasible.

To all you naysayers, I am nearly f2p, less than $200 USD total in a little under a year of playing. After learning more about him and the game, I saved most resources and efforts towards Constantine's MGE and was able to get him in a kingdom where we had nearly 200 T5 players going into KvK2. I trained for 17m points in one MGE and ending up scoring the cap of 30m points total JUST to get 10 gold sculpts (read carefully).
So it is possible to aim for MGE commanders as a very low spender, but you really have to hold back on spending AP, rss, boosts, etc. I also had a lot of gold heads saved too, and my Con is sitting at 5530, Alex is 5551, while Richard was left at 5511, and Charles was left broken at 4330 for some time, but he is still fixable.
I know this is an old video but I have a question I have sun tzu maxed out and Alex at 5552 should I use Alex as the primary? I’m kind of new and still learning thank you for your time

I think a f2p player's best chance of getting an expertised legendary IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME is by investing universals on a commander that you can ALSO get from keys. Universals alone will take forever to expertise, keys alone will take forever to expertise - and if you're not effective for all that time you'll be left behind in your alliance and the game isn't as fun!
I think this might just be good advice. Seeing how competitive I was at the beginning of the game just by having a high level, expertised epic commander while the spenders were still messing around with newly obtained legendaries of a lower level, probably 5511 or even 5212 or some mixture while they aquire more heads. I was able to keep up with but also beat out most of them just by using smart commanders that I focused on instead of spreading exp and sculpts too thin.. My point being, if I was so strong with decked out epics that I focused... Why would I not be competitive by spending universal sculpts to expertise an accessible commander to me, one of the key commanders. Would an expertised Charles Martel not be more effective than having a 5511 Alex for an extended time? Would an Expertised Mehmed not be similar to running around with a YSG that isn't expertised and doesn't have the 360 degree hit box? Would I not dish out damage with an expertised Frederick? Or kick some butt with an expertised El Cid? Am I really better off using the first two skills of what is deemed as a "better commander?" With my gold key luck I can already tell I won't be expertising the key commanders using ONLY keys before I quit this game. It's taken months even to get them where their first skill is maxed... Idk.
@@danielnelson4881 that's what I'm saying, and his warning about having too many extra legendary heads isn't a problem that I'll ever be familiar with. but if we're really getting technical here - even if you expertised a commander from only keys over the course of like 3 years, you would still inevitably end up with extras due to the infinite nature of keys, just spend them on past glory in kvk

In KvK Light vs Darkness, if 2 allied Kingdoms or just even 2 Allys out of the same kingdom rally a Crusader fortress together, get both of them the achievment or only the one who attacked first? I thought you have the best chance to know that as sponsored guy from RoK
Good day chisgule as a f2p I've decided to save all my legendary sculptures and slowly upgrade my Alexander which I got on the wheel now his 512 do you think he's ready to rumble in the open field as a 512 with Max sun tzu as primary?
Big Mistake that you unlocked the 3rd skill, you need Alex at least 5511 to be good on the open

What should I work on, rich or con? (I have about 300 universals) I have maxed Alex, Charles, and guan. I’m entering kvk2 and wondering which would serve me and my kd the best... I’m about 75mil power...

sun tzu with charles and if u have richard fist skill maxed out then use richard with sun tzu,its best combo for sun tzu

I would say yeah, but then again your constantly getting aethel sculptures, so I dont think it really matters because she will eventually be maxed.

I have a question, whats the best way (fastest way) to spend ap? Killing barb seem take a long time esp if you have reduced ap from peacekeeping.
You attack with several marches at once i.e. 5x marches is about 120-150 AP let barb. If anything, we need MORE AP in the game

So i have tons of ap left, althought not as efecient as using my strongest commander its still better than letting it go overflow.

I just wondered how strong Leonidas is for PvP.
I got him and he's one of my favourites so far (though I'm relative new to the game, especially considering PvP).
So my question is: if you already got Leonidas, is he a good infantry PvP commander (maybe PvE event commander as well)?

Who should I pair him with? - atm I use Leonidas/Sun Tsu.

5511 Leo is sufficient, in part because the expertise is so brief. The expertise is good for canyon and ark

My Constantine is currently sitting at 5511, I have enough universal heads to put another skill on him but I won't right now. I love him. Seeing that heal fire off has saved my behind a couple of times. Having him be a secondary to Richard works really well. I like Alex but I have a hard time finding someone to pair with him. Does Constantine (secondary) work with Alex (primary)?
My Alex is level 60 and expertised. YSG and Sun Tzu are being used elsewhere. I know Joan is a good secondary. What about Eulji or Scipio being a secondary to Alex?

This video really peaked my intrigue cause i am an infantry main. I've got Alex expertised, Rich at 5551, Martel at 5521, Constantine at 5511. I'm working on expertising YSG now to go with my Alex and i'll probably work on Saladin/Takeda (both 5551) next to replace mina/cc. Then i'll probably be looking at working on Guan after that

Chisgule.Your content is insane.The problem is that f2p players cannot do half of what u recommend for legendary commanders. 1 expertised ,legendary commander per year is the benchmark for f2p
I'm in a pretty new Kingdom. We just got the Richard 1rst wheel. I put 18k gems into it. Now have him at 5111. I still got about 40 sculptures saved. We don't even have Alexander and Constantine. We don't have Ye song Gye either. I been waiting for the next gem Recharge bonus to show up to buy the monthly gem pack but I'm thinking about going ahead and buying gems to spin more for Richard 1rst. He's probably the best commander we have right now. I'm trying to stay low spender but really it's not working very well.
I am in a 28 day old kingdom and in few days richard wheel will come..I am a f2p and i saved 75k gems for richard wheel... I am planning to spin the wheel and add my 30 golden heads to get Richard to 5511 and after that i will save gems and heads to expertise Alex... How is this plan??
Good plan but Alex will be available after 200+ days of kingdom. I was planning the same like you but then I used my gems on YSG and still almost 100 days before Alex the Great wheel will appear
I would go Richard, ysg, and then Constantine
But I think alex is the best investment.. I will save everything to max alex... if i spend on ysg it will affect my way to max alex soon...Alex & richard is better option for openfield for an f2p infantry focused

okay but lets be honest.. Richard+Alex will crush Constantine+Alex in a 1v1. Also Guan Yu+Alex will beat Constantine+Alex in a 1v1. Anyone think differently???

But yes, constantine was never intended as a duelist. The skills suggest that.
But with most pairings he will be of more value on open field. He teams excellent with martel, richard, alex, joan, sun, and yes, definitely leonidas.

Thanks! Martel and Cao seems like an unlikely pairing. They are about two different unit types.

I think the list is reasonable. I have Richard and Alexander expertised at 60. Charles is 5-2-1-5 at 60. Constantine is 5-1-1-1 at 60. Guan Yu is not in my kingdom yet. I will finish Constantine after getting Khan to 5-5-1-1. Once Constantine is finished, I may choose one of the new archer commanders since I only have YSG at the moment.

They can get it immediately while u have to wait for a couple of months. Thats what they are paying for. Ofc they need money to keep operating. If all are f2p, how do they continue to update the game ? lol. If u are too poor go play super mario. Im also f2p . I knew i cannt afford the price so i play it slowly and join all events. It take times lol.

This is probably last time I’m watching your video . You just said constantine is better option for f2p than alex . I completely disagree. F2p which is not gonna be garrison leader in flag and what they will focus is open field which alex is godlike . And what is the point of getting rally as f2p? If you online use suntzu to do as much as dmg then pop the shield . And if you offline it doesn’t matter you have constantine or wu you will get destroyed anyway. So my point is f2p never focus garrison but focus openfield on try to not get rallied . Second thing you put leo very low rank and I know he is not as good as we expected. But god trust me ppl are not doing enough test . I have all inf max cmd and done many test in my opinion leo is very very good openfield cmd and I will never regret. He is high in my inf cmd ranking . Just plz stop teaching players what you don’t know , don’t pretend you know about these cmd . You don’t have them lvl up and you haven’t tested them yet
A f2p is a support role. He’s just telling f2p to bring Constantine/Joan to buff team and debuff enemy. Alexander is good too but he’s a glass cannon. You need to pair him with Richard to stay in the battle field. Other wise he’s the first thing enemy targets after aoe commanders.

oblaga he has to be clear about doing him 5511 or maxing . Focus on means max cmd . And using 5511 as garrison is not a good idea . His point was also “constantine good at protecting your city “
I agree with you that Constantine is bad for f2p, because you need max tech to be a garrisson captain. Eventually f2p can get there but Chisgule ruled out Guan Yu and Leonidas for being late game, which is hypocritical of him. And if you have max tech, what are you afraid of?
after constantine get the buff from lilith he now have 4 skill ( 5 if max ) relevant on open field, garrison in ark, debuff rally,...... get him 5 5 1 1 and pair with charlie 5 5 1 1 ( just gold key ) then you really in the good shape for inf

I disagree with not using universals on gold Key commanders because who is going to wait for 2.5 years to get the full value of a commander you need now. If more sculptures pop up so what. The goal is to max them as quickly as possible

@@ballabarnabas9533 I would stay with Richard. You can't defend you city from rallies if you are not high spender (use shields for that). Richard is still one of the best, and you can use it at 5551 and that would be 95% of his power.
And then, you can pair him with with Martel, which you will be able to skill him up to 5511 easy with only gold keys.

I have to say, i disagree with the idea that you and other content streamers put out there that F2P should not use your universal sculptures on people like Charles etc because you can get them from chests, etc. The reality of this is that if you do this, you will never expertise them. I have been playing for over a year, am a low spender and not one of my legendary commanders is anywhere close to being maxed out from just chests alone. If you want to use them in any sort of reasonable time frame you will need to put sculptures into them or buy daily chests, etc.
For instance, my Ceaser, at 410 days played is only 5/5/. So 400+ days playing and only using chests for sculptures will get you 2 skills maxed? My Mehmed and Fredreick are right about the same, Mehmed is 5/5/1 and freddy could be 5/5/2, so pretty consistent.
