✔️Building a cabinet
Lauren, way to go!!!
It feels so good to stretch yourself doesn't it. My husband always said, "someone did it, you can too".
Oh good! I am not the only one seeing the flashing strip at the top of the video. Phew! Also, you are so hardcore Lauren!
Girl is there anything you can’t do. Be very proud of yourself.❤❤❤❤❤
Lauren - look at you !! Building custom cabinets ❤🎉 !!
I sense this is just the beginning of a new adventure for you !!! 😘
My thought regarding the thermostat was to move it over a foot or two. It's just wires behind it. Move it and let the cabinet cover the hole, or patch it. I'm amazed at the skill you have building cabinets, and for the first time, too. Amazing! You are very talented. I enjoy watching you work.
I totally agree on moving the thermostat, or option 4. LOL
I like the way she makes
Lauren, you are a champion. You know how to make things happen. 😊
Quit Lauren, you're doing a great job. I love watching you. You're inspiration. You're enthusiastic your hard work you're such a good person keep up the good work
Put the tall cabinet at the other end by the door.
I was thinking you could do the tall cabinet first instead of last!! But I'm too late
What is going on at the top of the video? Like a flashing thing.
I couldn’t concentrate on anything else on the video 😊
You should put peg boards on walls over cabinets to hang all your power tools, and other tools. Great job! I am disabled now, I really miss woodworking.
This looks great!! I think you should take courses to become a full blown carpenter! You are so talented! Good job! It would be fun to watch you both flipping and building your own line of furniture. ❤
Great job, Lauren. You keep expanding your knowledge and skills.
You go girl !!!! We so proud of you !!!!😂
I always hate deep cabinets. You might want to think about putting in pull out drawers. Without things get lost in the back.
1000% agree. When I was living with my guardians, I was the one to get the items in the back of the cabinets. It was my job to clean out said cabinets. I the smallest at 5'0". Hated doing that.
There was a fourth option to the thermostat dilemma and that was to make it just like the other side of the room with a cutout for the thermostat like you were thinking and just don’t put doors on…just leave it open shelving. You were almost there…but you did an awesome job building those cabinets yourself. You go girl!!!
From FFT to ff-carpenter teacher 😂😂 well done so guys are so dynamic 👏👏👏👏
Just awesome! You are such a rock star.
I am so happy for you. Great skill set, always , all ways learning , you teach us, that we too can do it, thanks
You go girl! You two are amazing.
I have been looking forward to this! I knew it was only a matter of time 😂 Lauren, you are such a badass! Can't wait to see it all come together! Only advice I have is to think about installing drawers, rather than deep shelves. Easier to keep tidy, and easier on your body!
Yay! Thank you! there will be a few drawers for sure!
Love what you're doing there! You are quite talented. You might consider putting facing on your toe hole area so things don't get lost under there or so you aren't having to clean under there all the time. Can't wait for the next video!
Since you enjoy the recycling aspect. You should consider making things out of used pallets. Very repurpose friendly. You could do amazing, laminate them together after processing down and make stuff!!!
Well done Lauren ❤️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Looking great! Fun to watch you work and it sure is an education for many. You continue to teach more than in a classroom!
Blessings and thank you for sharing!
Be safe !
You did a phenomenal job on making those cabinets, especially for a newbie whos never done something like this before. You should be super proud of your achievement. Great job Lauren x
Looking awesome!
You just keep surprising us with every new project.. First we were impressed that you were able to assemble premade boxes. Now you are actually making the boxes from scratch. WOW! What's next? This is exactly what I have been doing lately. Organizing my furniture refinishing supplies. One category for sanding supplies, paints, cleaning, ect...
I'm so impressed, Lauren!!!! Looks great!
Thanks so much!!
Watch out for drawstring when working with electric tools. Strings can get sucked in to the machine.
You are amazing 💕💕
Wow excellent job x
Kudos to you for not only being brave enough to tackle such a massive project for the first time, but to make a video to show the world while doing it!! That takes guts. They look great! And to do all that in 3 days? It might take some other newbie 3 months or even years.
There are industrial style warehouse shelving units made of steel, that would enable you to utilise the full height of a wall for furniture storage. Just a thought.
Fantastic job, Lauren. You did a wonderful job, maybe think about drawers, instead of deep shelves. It would be easier to find stuff, just a thought.😊😊😊 great video
Just do it! You are doing it! Proud of you two.
My solution for the thermostat was to put the big cabinets beside the door and put the lower cabinets against the wall
GREAT JOB...BUILDING UR CABINETS...😊 KEEP UP THE AMAZING JOB THAT U DO.. LOOK FOWARD TO SEEING UR NEXT VIDEO THXS FOR SHAREING 😊
Great job Lauren!!!
Good for you on getting into the world of building. I would of just used some of the furniture I had on hand lol. You have lots of great items that would work. Love watching you! Keep up the hard work.
Gret job Lauren as always your a very driven young lady love the progress you & neman have made together good luck with everything that you both are doing love yoyr videos I never them lots of love from bonnie scotland and the great city of glasgow 😅😅😅😅😮😅😅
These are going to be great storage units!!! You’re doing an amazing job!! ❤🎉❤😊
Come on over to Indiana after you’re finished and we can get started on my garage!!! 😂 I’ll cook some good food, too! 😁😁😁👍🏻
Level up girl..
Look at you go...❤keep it going
Great Job, Girl‼️
Just a suggestion. I think if you build drawers that pull all the way out for the bottoms, you'd be able to find what you are looking for much much easier.
Happy to see you !!
Loved!!
You did perfect!🥰
Doctorate in Cabinetry! You go Lady! YAY YOU!
haha thanks! maybe not quite 😂
Super job, Lauren, you are so smart and talented. Looks great! 💖
You go girl !! I’m proud of you. (Wish I was as brave)
Fantastic job, Lauren !
You go girl!
You always amaze me! Great job.
Keep an eye out on marketplace for some industrial racks so you can put smaller furniture on shelves. You can also get a rolling ladder too. Businesses are always selling such things. Go vertical along the walls. Good luck!
Great idea! I will be searching!
This has been on my list, super inspiring to see you do it! #courage
Great job!
Good job!!!🎉
The cabinet on the left side could be moved to stand next to the door. That way they would match and keep a little of the mess from showing on each side. See the message below this one.
Drawers would be more beneficial for storage. You may want to think about some.
Wow! Lauren your are amazing 👏
Thank you so much!!
Awesome!
Is the top of the video glitching out for anyone else?
looks like we had a glitch in upload! sorry!
Well done. You should do a cabinet making trade. I follow Thomas Johnson from Gorham Maine.
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🥰💖💯💫
Or the cabinet could be moved to the other end by the door. Then it's could be full size.
where should one sell those products after you refurbished them?
i asume the same place you got them from, the internet right?
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🕊️✌️😀😃😄😁🤗
Are his hands broken?
who?
I honestly thought you were going to fill your workshop with lots of metal wire racks.
This post has a terrible flickering on the top. Extremely nauseous effects. It was causing the beginning of a migraine. Had to cover that part of my phone to watch it. Please fix this. Thank you in advance.
