I found your channel when you were pregnant with George because I was pregnant with my second baby. My second baby just turned 2, 2 days ago which is crazy. Your hospital bag videos made it so much easier for me packing my own ❤

I sometimes get so jealous of these teeny babies! My girl measured in the 99th percentile and was 10lbs 7oz born at 36 weeks. Hoping all goes well! super excited for you!

I must have watched your hospital bag video with George more than 50 times when I was preparing my hospital bag! That was such a great video and also what you actually used! Can’t remember if this was in your original list but I would definitely recommend taking a small handheld fan, the hospital can be so hot! I also took a spray can of water which was so lovely and refreshing to spray on my face, then use the fan! So exciting that your baby is almost here! Wishing you all the very best Shan!

Definitely an “extra” kind of item lol but I was absolutely OBSESSED with my eucalyptus essential oil after birth. The gas & air really bunged me up for days afterwards and I just used to put the essential oil all over my pillow, clothes, wrists, neck lol and it really helped me breathe straight after birth and that first night. Was a god send! Xx

I’m so glad i’m not the only one to renovations and pregnant with second! I feel you, 14 weeks to go and got no nursery either, drives you mad when all you want to do is get organised!

A battery fan! Was super helpful for me.
I was so glad for my eye mask in hospital! I was induced and was in for 5 days and nights. Also hand cream and hair bands
It’s so bright in hosp too!! Agree on hair bands and hand cream - adding to my list!!
Highly suggest silver nursing cups for healing & lanolin while start breastfeeding… saved me. It’s a hard journey but well worth it. Research a lactation consultant so you are ready for any issues to start of. Best of luck!

Tbh, I don’t know.. the amount of times I got interrupted by a toddler wanting snacks or to show me a bug… forever 😅🤣
I have started packing my hospital bag too, but I really don't know if I already want to buy a peri bottle, hazel pads and spritz and such yet. I'm aiming for a VBAC, but it might turn into another C Section again and I never used all of that last time and gave it away! (And my baby girl is still breech as I'm typing this at 33+2..... grrrr!) We will also have an entire bag pack filled with snacks, just like last time. Haha! I will go around Tesco and just grab whatever I fancy. I got the same Lucozade's in the cupboard already, and there will definitely be a big bag of M&Ms peanuts!
Ahh that’s a tricky one! I totally know what you mean, I guess you can always get witch hazel and all the rest of if after you’ve given birth if you need it - Amazon is our best friend haha xxxx

A portable fan from Amazon! I got one with bendy arms that could be held or attached to a bed etc if needed. So worth it xxx

The anxiety I got looking at the path of destruction when you arrived back home 😂 only because I have the same when I come home to leaving the kids in daddy daycare! 🤯

Glad everything is ok with baby girl!! 😊 why don’t you put in double doors or something instead of a wall in the lounge? It would let more light though? It would be more expensive but you could maybe pick up second hand French doors?

Dont put pressure on yourself with breastfeeding. I have 3 children I bottle fed with my 2 and then my 3rd baby I tried to breastfeed I did it for 3 days it was painful, baby wouldn't latch properly, and my nipples bled so I gave him and formula fed. I felt extremely guilty for not being able to breastfeed and hit with hard for a while. Xx
I totally agree - not putting any pressure on it but I deffo want to give it a go this time. Equally, George absolutely thrives on formula from day one so I have no issue doing the same of BF doesn’t work out! ♥️
Why is the house always an absolute STATE when dads look after the toddler for a few hours? 😂 I’m always like how? How did you let it get to this lol?
Omg those bras!!! Mine got totally tatty by the time my daughter was actually born as I wore them from the first trimester onwards but all I was gonna say was take out the padding and cut a small hole at your nipples boom you have a pumping bra 🤷 just a tip for anyone like myself who doesn't want to pay the prices for all the different bras hope this helps someone or saves someone a little money x

I used my bags that my clothes came in from Shein instead of buying the packing bags you can buy. Meant I could separate all the things I needed for the hospital

Weird question, where did you get your tv unit? The white cupboard unit? Looking for a new one since ours is too low and our toddler just smashed the tv with a toy!

I have been breastfeeding my baby boy for 17months and the biggest advice I have is doing some reasearch or classes before hand and if you need any help when you actually do it get some help from professionals.🫶
