It’s common at this point it should really be expected by most Celtics fans. Cuz for some reason most NBA fans on Twitter and UA-cam hate on them every chance they get and the NBA and the national media don’t help when they do the same thing.
Notice how they only talk about the Celtics when they’re struggling. I never see the media talk about they’re success and JT is underrated especially this season cuz most of the time when you hear an NBA fan talking about him they’re talking about the few flaws he has in his game or how he’s shooting his worse FG% of his career in his worst shooting year of his career.
The dude is a problem and that’s clear to any hooper and especially somebody like myself who studies the game. So the people that talk shit about JT are casuals that can’t even play ball and would get picked last at the Y or the park.
@@wayno115 what I like about Tatum is he hears the criticism and gets to work. His playmaking is at a different level right now than it was earlier this season, and his fg percentage has been a lot better recently. He is a low drama star but the media loves to create drama, and narratives somehow.
Averaging 26 8 and 4, and this is considered a "down season" for him. Lets not forgot this man Is only 23!!! One of the best 2 way players in the game, and his playmaking has taken tremendous leaps as well. The shooting splits may be down, but wait till he and Jaylen get some real talent besides them. League better watch out for the Jays, its gonna get scary

People are to busy tryna hate on the man every chance they get by bringing up his FG% in his worst shooting year of his career than give him his credit for improving as a defender and playmaker even though his passing and court vision needs some more work he’s still averaging 5 assists and has the biggest impact on the team.

How😂 everyone gives him so much hype and I love his game but he’s been really inefficient this year on an average team at best. Playmaking has only improved minimally and his efficiency has gone down literally every year. His game is beautiful and he’s a top 25 player but ain’t no way in hell dude’s game is underrated

Hes perfectly rated as a player. His highlight tape however, and his game when he is on. Hes a top 5 player in the league no joke. There was some stat I heard that said something like; when it comes to 50 point games by a player in an NBA game, Tatum has 5 out of the last 16 and no other player has more than 2. Ridiculous.

I am a big tatum fan and although I am bias I feel his playmaking is one of the best in the league.
He massively improved his playmaking this year. He would be MVP caliber if he would make more shots this year

You can tell this year the game has slowed down for him, he’s more in control of the possession but also taking a what the defense gives him.
At this point what I’m starting to realize is the people that hate on JT and always run to point out his stats in his 1 down year of his career are the dudes that get picked up last at the park or the Y lol cuz any real hooper knows that JT is a problem and he’s arguably the best young player in the league 25 and under.
