When your children can both smile from ear to ear while they're talking about you and the love they have for you shows in their faces than you've done a great job raising them. Kudos to Joe and his wife!
When I was a young, my family travelled around Southern Spain. By chance we stayed in a villa beside Joe and his family. I can barely remember it but we must have played in the pool with Jazz and Lola. We went to the circus together. My dad had bought the tickets for Joe and his family because Joe had taken us to dinner with his friends. At the circus, he had one of the girls on his lap and said, "You always clap. They are putting in their hearts to perform for you so you gotta clap."
These two ladies are the loveliest, nicest and most down to earth of all the famous people's children I know about. I'd love to hang out and be friends with them. Just another reason to love Joe.
I wrote this poem for Joe in December 2003, about a year after his death. Thought I'd share it... Joe Strummer When you left this world It became a poorer place And many a tear falling On many a tear-stained face. With my unborn child Five months in the womb When you left this world It seemed to be too soon. What an inspiration! All the things you had done And left unto this world So much more we can become. When he arrived into this world Joe was his name too! It was the highest tribute That I could pay to you.
They both have the same soulful eyes of their dad. Joe Strimmer was a one-off, a very rare breed, and the world is a much poorer place without him. I miss him, what he represented and stood for, and people of his ilk (long gone and nowadays unfortunately non-exisfent) every day....
R.I.P. Joe. I still think about you almost every day. You continue to inspire, influence, and provide hope for people all over the world. You were truly one of a kind and the world would be a better place if you were still here.
Attractive, intelligent, sweet, charismatic. Just like their dad. I never got to see The Clash live, but if I'd had the chance to, I'd have jumped on it. I bought their single, White Riot/1977 in 1977 in fact! London Calling has been on my Top Ten since Day One in 1979 or whenever.
Great to see and hear Joe's girls, thanks for this! I'll be raising my two girls with the Clash, good times and good music with hopes that they turn out as down to earth, intelligent, lovely, and wise as his.
Wowjust imagine how cool it would be growing up with Joe strummer as a dad living by No Rules!! R.I.P Joe you have obviously bought two very well adjusted young ladies!!
They are so cute 😍😇😌 and so intelligent and nice polite friendly daughters of Joe Strummer, maybe they can start their own punk rock band called THE CLAPS
Thomas Andersen yes, that's Lola I thought the same, just like Joe. Jazz looks more like Gabby, there are a few pictures of her in some books I have in the Clash.
So lovely they are joe must have been proud:) it's cool to hear them and they are just so down to earth as I saw joe was also a nice guy it seemed man I wish I could have interviewed joe too!
Langelier Fabrice they we're definitely a close group and young men! Lol. Lovely young women. I think what we're seeing is British people have a look and here it is.
For all the Americans reading this and wondering how their children seem so relaxed and together. We all know it's because of the system thats set up across the pond. Please take time to reflect on how difficult it takes a middle class American to achieve children who can become this cool. Unfortunately, and I don't mean this in a derogatory way, only the well-off in the US can achieve this level because of how hard it is to raise a child these days in the States, or more specifically a child of color, in a way that allows these two young adults to be able to express themselves the way that they are.
when Jazz turns her head to the left of the screen as you're watching her she has the total eyebrow action of Sir Joe Strummer one of my favorite songs of The Clash is safe European home already knew about the class because of the punk book called 1988 the new wave punk rock explosion that came out in 1978 which I shoplifting in Birmingham Alabama in the 1970s I can't remember but I do remember I take the broadcast of the Clash playing a lot of songs from Give Them Enough Rope off of the king biscuit flower hour radio show I also take the band squeeze who sounded very Punk back then probably 1978 and The Pretenders in 1979 when they came out and the Boomtown Rats in 1979 with their second album those years were the greatest years in music in my book next to the British Invasion Joe Strummer is an absolute genius and his daughters are cute but I wish I could see what their feet look like what's funny is that the king biscuit flower hour radio show with the Clash they sing the song Stay Free off of the given enough rope album and they did not censor the word s*** in the song which is very unusual given that the FCC does it does not allow cuss words on the radio they also played safe European home which is one of my favorite songs of theirs and it was absolutely smoking for a young guy 13 years old I consider that song to be one of the most silent songs I've ever heard next to Search and Destroy by Iggy and the Stooges it just makes you want to bang your head all day and night it's cute that Joe Strummer ended up having girls and no boys maybe they might find somebody as genius as he is in his grandkids

I loved the Clash and particularly Joe X

Joe was a very humble man, you could see it in the interviews, no pretending or showing off.
R.I.P. Joe. I still think about you almost every day. You continue to inspire, influence, and provide hope for people all over the world. You were truly one of a kind and the world would be a better place if you were still here.
They both have Joe's droopy eyes.
nah, you're mixing up Mick and Joe - Mick of the British choppers
adventuresinbelieving yes, the early days Joe's teeth were rotton. So we're Mick's and Paul's developed badly later on.
They are Joe clones...also, very smart, polite
Wow, they look a lot like him and even have similar mannerisms. Great to see them speak so happily about him, too 💖
That brought a smile to my face, lovely lasses.
They come across totally level headed like their Dad and he was the coolest guy ever simply coz he didn't set out or try to be. RIP JOE STRUMMER 🙏

Weird but I think they both resemble Mick Jones more than Strummer😄
Does anyone know who Jazz's husband/boyfriend is? I've been looking all over the place to find the answer, but there's really no sign of him...
Jazz has lots of Joe's features
freeze at 1-19 its mick jones.

What is it like being Joe Strummer's daughters? Jazz and Lola in interview tell us:
For all the Americans reading this and wondering how their children seem so relaxed and together. We all know it's because of the system thats set up across the pond.
