This hits home so hard right now as a close to 50 yr old, watching world go crazy around me and wondering about the future for our kids. Thank you boys for your unwavering excellence in what you do.. it is needed now more than ever as the world I grew up in is falling apart at the seams.. your voices are needed during this great awakening, with a similar message to that of Sharing Space..
One of the worlds most underrated and important bands.

Ironically I have only just had a rediscovery of this band, I’d lapsed on them for awhile and the irony is, sought them out on Instagram and posted to them near damn word for word the same as you.. stated that the world needs COG now more than ever, and to my surprise, got a response back !!!

I am a musician did some gigs had a band then became more absorbed in work and a cog album changed my life back to my dreams and freedom to create freedom for all put me down wicked roads to know the evil that's in all of us but played to mosh, still craving the path of musician and have been fortunate to do so, your right one of the best bands

Played at my uni 2001. Was 0ne of three people at lunch concert sydney uni wentworth bar.
WAS BLOWN AWAY.. played so hard for the 3 of us.
Knew they were going to be EPIC then and still now.
Seen them a few times over the years and they always KILLED IT.
3 blokes for so much sound.
Today was just another day, and then this happened......
and you will play this song over and over again when you seek....
All in the world will be good again the moment they can play a show in front of more than tens of people at one given time. I remember the song Town of Lincoln. Makes even more sense now. To say I love this band is useless, stash cash away and figure out how to get from the USA to Australia to be a part of one of the shows that has been rescheduled and moved again is the only way to show how I feel. Fingers crossed. thank you gentlemen for writing such.... I have no words to describe, but just this sound.

That's the real test of any band. COG absolutely smashes it live.
Yeah man, my band opened for them a couple of times on Sydney's northern Beaches just as THE NEW NORMAL was released. I'd lived near those guys and I kinda knew them individually, but when I saw them play after us I was so impressed.. Just brilliant, everything they do. "RUN" is just a fantastic piece of music too.

I found your music recently on Spotify's recommendations. Such a good track!
My friend made a very astute perception which I think explains why I love this band and this song especially.. The tempo changes are many and like a lot of longer prog rock songs I've listened to that are say 17 minutes long, this boils it down into a sub 7 minute song with all those succulent hooks that take you by surprise and keep the song super fresh! Mastercraft. COG. I love you. Keep rockin', this is delightful!!!!!!!!!!
