- Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday! Today we are doing a train survival challenge! One person must defend a runaway train with a machine gun turret, while two others give chase and try to blow up the explosive cargo hidden within!

Imagine an ultimate train boss battle using both of the tracks, essentially a double track train boss with thick carboard covering its core/engine and its hauling a big turret/cannon like one of those top view arcade games.

Well, it's kind of different because you start with a stock vehicle and you evolve it through the course, whereas the last time they build a vehicle out of junk and keep them the same the whole race

@@snackpirate_ More than 4 people in a discord call is fine from my experience. I would be more concerned about the Scrap Mechanic lag.

In nomad survival weld the 2 steering bars together in the middle then you can delete the second rod then you get the strength of having 2 per wheel but without the lag

@@ledocteur7701 he is talking about two different axle. So it's possible if you keep front or back side rod for both axle.

MM suggestion, make glass spheres and hammer it to win. You can have suspension glitch in middle so you won't ragdoll. Make it attached to bearings.

It would've been cool if you also awarded the person on the train extra survival time depending on how many times they destroyed the cars
I wish in creative mode all the levelled parts (eg. seat, engine or suspension) would work like their max level counterparts so you don't have your world war 2 bombers seat glowing like its Saturday night
yes, also scrap mechanic doesnt have the scrap feeling I dont like tier 3 blocks too so I use tier 1, but its just my opinion
The only issue with that would be if the Davis let us take creative blueprints and put them in survival

Multiplayer Monday Idea:
*Capture the Flag*
It would work the same way the recent MM challenges have, or similarly at least;
Everyone builds a vehicle to run the gauntlet, collect one flag, and bring it back to the start. The others have a bunch of premade defences (explosives they can shoot, turrets, etc.).
You have a course with a bunch of balls ("flags") at one end, and a starting point at the other.
They have to disable your vehicle, while you have to complete as many runs as possible, snagging one flag each time.
It'd be a good chance to each build unique grabbers, defensive/evasive mechanisms, and strategies!
If there's lots of obstacles, you could even say thrusters are allowed, just so long as you're not flying over them. Anything is on the table!
MM suggestion:
You have to build an ATV for a course with multiple terrains but the twist is, you have to be in first person for the whole time so you need to design your vehicle around being in first person.
@7:20 OOO Idea, Raisable side walls on pistons, so you fit the rules of single layer, but when the single layer is getting shot, you can press A button and raise a camo layer :-P

You should roll 1D10 +10 each time to decide the dimensions of the vehicle that week, and roll the sides separately so that people might have to build non-squares.

Make a train for the long track map and make vehicles that deploy exploding spike strips on the track to literally "Exploded on its *Tracks* "

As soon as kAN blew himself up I immediately thought of the aim your gun at your own explosive and drive right up to the train and suicide bomb strat! Thought for sure that would happen at some point! Lol

When I saw the wheels rolling at the beginning of the video and immediately made me think that you guys should do a wheel toss challenge multiplayer Monday it would be everyone has a wheel that they throw and see who can make it the hardest but the wheel doesn’t have to be thrown it could be rolled or anything else it just Hass to be launched in a direction

Multiplayer Monday idea: Farmbot mech battles. You each build a mech capable of battling farmbots, but you make it out of a non durable material. Or you just battle each other with the mechs. Day 8 lol
You guys should use mods
There is a mod that adds a tape gun which can break every block after couple of hits
Multiplayer Monday idea:
Build a crane arm which attaches to a train, and then using the arm lift objects around the course and move them to another location.

in one of the recent episodes, we have found out that you can fly fast enough to catch up to the shots of your own spudguns. Can you build a cardboard/glass plane that is capable of ramming its own spuds and destroying itself that way?
MM idea: Each player builds something in secret to do a simple task, such at cutting tree, or launching an explosive.
Then, they reveal their creation to the other players, who have a time limit to A) figure out what it does and B) find a creation on the workshop that replicates it the closest. First player judges who got closest. Then the cycle continues with the next secret creation.
Alternate title : Scrapman brings back the armored train from WW1 legally

You guys should do something similar where there is 2 tracks spread out and have 2 teams build trains and turrets to battle on the tracks
Multiplayer Monday idea:
Build a train that can carry an 11x16 SOLID block of tier 3 concrete.
Add a drag reducer (from the Engineer's Toolbox mod) to your train, and drive on a steep downhill track.
The goal is to not gain too much speed and crash. Whoever makes it to the bottom the fastest wins.
Building rules:
Your train may only contact the ground on the tracks. No side supports.
No electric motors or controllers for propulsion. Gas engines or thrusters only.
Unlimited length, but you must be less than 16 blocks wide.
Multiple cars are allowed. (you can have a separate locomotive and freight car)
Thrusters may be used for braking purposes. (they can face backward)
Pistons may be used to tilt the train left or right, in the same way they were used in the vertical log transport challenge.
MM suggestion, you need to shoot all the blocks/wire that is your colour to win on a bomb and if you shoot badly too much, kaboom.

You could have train vs train. Teams of 2 build a train fortress with turrets and hide an explosive in it, then they try to blow up the other team's train.
