    Just finishing up on the final assembly of my Performer Deluxe. Only thing left to do is drilling holes for the Temp Sensor Grommet and SNS Smoke Hole cover. Gotta figure out which side of the kettle the SNS will be located before I drill the holes. I’m going to be cooking from the left side of the grill where the tool hanger is located. I figured I’d put the SNS on the opposite side - right side furtherest side away from the Temp Sensor Wires and myself so my arms don’t get burned when turning the meat.
    I noticed you have your SNS located to the front of your grill. Don’t you find your left arm getting hot with the lid open? Just an observation. And why do you have your SNS located to the front of your grill?

      It would actually be at the left side normally when facing the grill, about where the lid holder is attached. I have the smoke hole about midway between left and right, if I remember correctly 😊
