Thank you so much. I don’t have the words to express how much I love this video. Outer Wilds is an extremely personal and beautiful experience and you absolutely did it justice, it was like watching a highlights reel of my favourite moments!! From the 1 second clip of trying desperately to land on the Sun Station (hehehe) to the horrifyingly gorgeous trip through the Eye, you captured this game perfectly, it was like getting to play it all over again. Thank you so much 💗
I played this game back in the beginning of this year and I haven’t been able to get my mind off it since. I’ve thought so much about how perfect everything fits together and how much thought was put into every single detail of this game no matter how small. Echoes of the eye was so fantastic as well and was way better than I ever thought it would be
It's difficult to convince someone playing the game without spoiling it, but I find the Review by Rock Paper Shotgun helpful to give someone a feeling what Outer Wilds is about without telling them too much. ua-cam.com/video/4kYtnjmpPg4/v-deo.html
I go by what you can learn before you even launch your ship for the first time. Given all the mechanics are tutorialized and there's at least a brief mention of most of the planets that's still a lot to offer to someone to convince them to try it.
This game truly holds a special place in my heart, and although im part of the same group that wants to forget this game to play it again, im mostly just glad that I got to experience it at all
To float adrift in a gentle void And find brief patterns in the endless stars And listen to the universe As it turns over in its sleep I should think That's not so bad At all
I can't articulate how absolutely stunning this is. Outer Wilds is such an incredibly special, emotional journey and you've managed to somehow not only capture that perfectly, but also to build upon that to something truly special and all its own.
Such a powerful game. The themes of curiosity and peace in the face of total oblivion on a scale never seen before were some of the most affecting, to me personally, of any game I have ever played. Very few games have managed to instil both such fear and awe and intrigue as Outer Wilds. It’s got me through difficult times and enhanced joyous ones too. I find it difficult to accurately word the way this masterpiece of a game (and equally beautiful video) makes me feel so I’ll just put it like this: Nothing lasts forever. Not even something as unimaginably huge as our universe, or so immensely small as the atoms in our bones. Some day both will cease to exist. But that’s okay. Everything will end, so we may as well sit back around the campfire and enjoy the music
Nearly a year ago now, I tried to make my own sort of video like this, but to this day I still feel like my skill at the time led to me failing to really communicate what I loved about the game. You did not fail. I could tell that some of these shots were influenced by your memories of playing, and that really adds to it.
Yet again another Outer Wilds tribute! What a nice surprise. I love seeing this videos in my feed and being reminded I played one of (if not the best) the best games ever. Thank you, kind someone that shares his love for this games with others. That was a great video.
Thank you for making this video, this game means so much to me, i played it in a really tough moment of my life and totally changed me. I enjoyed this game so much and you captured every gorgeous moment this game has to offer, and that is just perfect. Again, thank you for making this video, thank you for reminding me why this is my favourite game of all time and thank you for capturing all the feelings that this game has in just one video.
Outer Wilds is the best game I've ever watched. You read that right, 'watch.' I merely watched the game with a streamer, and seriously, if you got somebody who you can relate a lot with, it would be not as different as playing the game! I also find it very fun to discuss - trading ideas - and solving the game together with somebody, especially on blind playthrough. 'process system that relies only on knowledge.' That sentence, just clicks! EDIT: Don't get me wrong, if I ever play it, it would be 100% my favorite game still.
Truly phenomenal video here. Thank you for making it and reminding me of my experience with this game!! The video really captured the feeling of this game, true art.
Loved the video, the scenes made me go back to some feelings when playing the game....this game ruined gaming for me, what this game made me feel is something so unique and I keep trying to find it again on other games, but nothing ever compares to it...thank you for this video
@@artificial_artist Bro... I get it now... beat the game and dlc shortly after posting this comment, just stumbled on this video again. My god it's so good.
What makes you think that? I really struggled in the beginning with the repetitiveness inherit to time loop games. But overall it was really a unique experience and I'm really glad I played through it (although I needed help at times).
Thank you so much.

Thank you for your nice words. I just had to make this video, for such a unique game to share what I felt.

I have never been sadder that I will not be able to play a game for the first time again. Outer wilds is an experience like nothing else.
Man, I kind of want a video like this, without any of the ending spoilers, to show to my friends to try to convince them to play this game.

I just created an Outer Wilds video with absolutely no spoilers ;)
It may not be something that you expect though XD
This has a lot of spoilers wtf don't show them this
@@fissionphoenix4995 a lot of people find it boring because they wanna go to space and then they miss a lot of things
Don't be sad because it's over, be happy because it happened.
Actually, it's ok to be sad sometimes. This game. . . Truly, is something special.

There will never be another game like outer wilds
Best game ever made.
I absolutely adore the pairing of the soundtrack with images and simulations of real space at the end - it really brings the whole thing home
late reply, but the end part is from a couple of melodysheep videos, as mentioned in the description. Should checkout that channel, top tier content!
the transitions were sick and that beginning song hit me in the feels, goosebumps throughout the whole intro. great job!

Best game I ever played. Thank you for doing this, it's beautiful.
Son... This video is just nuts... Thanks for making it!! It helped me remind why I love this game much!!
Amazing edit mate, outer wilds is one of my favorite games ever. You captured the spirit well in this vid
Truly phenomenal video here. Thank you for making it and reminding me of my experience with this game!! The video really captured the feeling of this game, true art.
this game is so perfect
This is beautifully done!
We may not have been able to save our universe, but we ensured the existence of the next one.
excellent video, just wish youtube compression didnt blur so much. either way i shall be sharing this absolute art.
Beautiful.
I was expecting a video essay, not this - but you know what? Not disappointed one bit.

Of you're looking fora way ti relive the game go to the soundtrack and just scroll through the comments where everybody shares their expericne
Nice one.
Nice video!
But where are the scenes with living nomai from?
The scenes with the nomai are from The Lore Explorer video about the nomai timeline.
wow
I feel like the hartheins on each of the planets (somehow) represents there character
not bad kid, not bad...
How severe are said spoilers? I've done everything except achieve the ending and do the dlc.
The dlc isn't in the video, but the ending will be severely spoiled here, so come back when you've come to the end.
@@artificial_artist Bro... I get it now... beat the game and dlc shortly after posting this comment, just stumbled on this video again. My god it's so good.
Hey, I loved these shots? Could I use some of yours for a video of my own? My PC isn't good enough to capture good footage.
thats beautiful but... why in the hell was Riebeck in giants deep?
oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
It might be that it's been too long since I've played this game, but what is the video of 3:00 of? The shadow and the sun?
It's the Whitehole Station.
Wait what is Riebeck doing here ?
I have not finished the game will this spoil it
The artwork is beautiful and the music is pretty neat. It's too bad it's such a shitty game.
