- Having just wired the Connects2 loom adaptors and steering wheel control box into my civic, I thought I’d just give some pointers on the wiring. The instructions are clear enough, but doesn’t cover some of the wires. A lot of the videos on here already aren’t very detailed, so I hope this helps anyone planning to do this upgrade.

Nice video! I’m wondering where are you based and would you offer to quote for installation of a connects 2 for my civic ?
The system remote control is not a live wire, its for controlling the amp volume if you go down that route, there is already a dedicated blue wire with a bullet connector.
Yes. You are right. Just had another look at the installation manual. But it does supply enough power (or do something) to the aerial to make it work correctly. Or through some sort of small voltage loop it does.
I'll have a look if and when I pull it back out for the correct connector.

Connected that blue wire to the blue and white wire it worked for about 5 mins then it stopped any ideas
What head unit did you fit?

Hello Harry ! Can you please help me , ive got a pioneer allso and steering wheel controls dont work my head unit has a 3.5 jack on it . Change date an time WORKS . Volume and next hannel does not .
I've no idea pal. Sorry. Try unplugging the connects2 unit plugs, give them a blow and reconnect. Check all your connections thoroughly. Mine just worked. Volume can be a bit sluggish, but it should work. Get in touch with connects2 if you're still having issues. Their customer care is good.
