It is so tilting when the Giratinas get the boost because it is essentially an auto lose. I played one battle where my opponent got back to back boosts and I got swept without even getting the Giratina down to the red.
Man I wish I got into pvp sooner. Don't know how many times I did a mass evolve to level up quickly not really paying attention to ivs or candy. Now I I carefully inspect each one I catch lol.
Really interesting team! I tried out Ursaring after watching your video and fell in love with it lol. Double close combat and bail out trick works great. Might as well build myself Amphros to try this out.
Consider gallade, nobody expects it. 4 confusions for close combat and 3 for leaf blade. There’s a lotttt of teams with either swampert, poliwrath, or venusaur, and gallade beats all of them, and other fighting types
I love to see this team and cant wait to use it,but when i try to use them,i always face the mud boy (swampert) And now i realize my problem wasn't the team, but those fuc*ing niantic doesnt let me to win
Great stuff as usual! Would you consider doing a video on how to work around bad leads and switch ins? Maybe some tips about team comps? I did my sets today and it seemed like every game I was getting hard countered
Hey guys, I have a rank 956 purified Snorlax and it would be better than my current Snorlax, but I dont want to invest unless I know return is better than body slam, I'm just looking for some advice since I couldn't find any looking it up. I'm also talking about ultra league exclusively.
Hi. Sorry to bother you. I am from Guatemala! I’ve been using a team with an armored mewtwo as a lead, altered giratina and registeel. My thought was to use registeel as a counter against giratina but now that shadow sneak it’s being use, registeel actually lose the match. Do you have any advise about a change in my team? Would you keep it as it is or replace a Pokémon?
i was running a similar team with ampharos and togekiss, but variating between using typhlosion (more trouble with swampert) or venusaur (trouble with fire types) as my third pokemon i'll try this one out to see!
do you think it s worth having Dragon Pulse on Ampharos for more coverage against Giratina? I rarely saw you using Focus Blast in this video (except against Shiftry, pretty effective but he s pretty rare)
@pogokieng been working on my jumpluff and got the notification about the buff to the grass moves. Don't tell anyone... but just so everyone knows I used him first (:
Nice vid! Just found I have a teddiursa with lick, which I could power up. Is that superior to shadow claw which you're running here, for it's better energy generation?
First of all, you want an ursaring, the evolved form of teddiursa, secondly, ursaring doesn't learn lick, so shadow claw is definitely the one to go for :)
@@willbuchanan6877 I hadn't appreciated that evolving Teddiursa would change its movesets - a PoGo fundamental that I'd just been totally unaware of. I knew that IVs and level would stay constant, and the unlocked slot for the extra charge move. Thanks for pointing out though!
Armando Alvarado yeah, I just saw. I think it would have been okay at 1 stage, just because it costs a lot to invest into those Pokémon. Nerfing its damage in its base use (without boost) now, kills a lot of Pokémon effectiveness which is a lot of stardust to invest into things like Giratina, Articuno, etc.
@@PogoKieng sorry didnt want to say anything bad, i was just hoping for a fun team i could build, but i still dont have togekiss. could you build a team that consists of pokemon that arent like in the first 100 via pvpoke and still win? that would be dope
@@PogoKieng Love your content, but I read it the same way as Farkas. "My Favourite Effective Anti-Meta Team | Go Battle League" made me assume it wouldn't use pokemon squarely in the meta. I usually count on Togekiss, Swampert, and/or Giritina in most matchups, so I consider them all to be the meta. Still, it's a pretty sick team.
yeah - i like saving a shield for ursaring which is why i wanted to get rid of the tina as soon as possible but it was definitely a play i should have considered
but aren't two of your mons countered by swamp? Does the team do good in the long run? I've been leading with venusaur with Gira-A and Ursaring (with counter for ice and steel types) at the back since forever now.

enemies togekiss got the boost with 2 shields left, needless to say that match was lost for me xD
thank god it got nerfed
It’s so overpowered man super bs
Finally a team that anybody can build! Great job!!
Not everyone has a Togekiss.

This team looks pretty good! it reminds me of my alolan raichu on great league.
Could you show the IV spread on the left aswell??
Ggs man forgot ampy gets to tpunch with 2 volt switch's for the second one could have won if I sacked my garitinia
When did return start dealing 130 damage for pvp 16:25? When did Niantic change this?
@Carl N like when GBL came Out
2 counters to giratina in the back - gets boost on first ancient power: GG
How do you think this team performs in the current meta?
Looking to build one myself.
return hits soooooo hard. saw a porygon z with lock on and return. lock on makes return somewhat quick.
You really made Amphoras seem like a beast!
What are the IV’s for your Pokémon
For ultra league is it the same rule as great league ?
Low attack high defense and stamina ?

Any strategy, if facing venusaur as opponents starting?
Use any Pokémon with fire moves or maybe use poison quick KO
Shubham Thakur but this team did not get any fire\ poison move
@@kuhoming togetic has flamethrower it's one shot venusaur.
Why do you use Ursaring instead of Snorlax? Is it just for the fairy charge move?
Fairy charge and close combat is less energy than eq and does more damage than super power
Snorlax would also give you coverage against alolan muk

i'll try this one out to see!
Gonna give it a shot. I have an Ursaring and Ampharos with good PvP IVs so I am going to make them and see what happens.
First attempt did not go well. 1-3-1. 3 of the teams I faced had venusaur and only 1 had Giratina.
Ursaring! My new pet project is stall wins with blissey. Stall is more fun than I expected
How are you protecting it? I tried that in preseason and actually won 3 matches in a row at one point lol
I've been running ampharos since the start. Right now with giratinaA lead and cobalion.
we need a new video on the new debuffs to ancient power, ominous wind etc!

Excellent performance. Congrats!
what's a good alternative for togekiss in this team?
Probably Clefable or Granbull
Maybe venusaur.. Venusaur have a good matchup againts normal actually snorlax. I dont know for ursaring
IV’s ?
Try the team of girantina, torterre, and empoleon for a vid
Kieng - could I use Zangoose instead of Ursaring for similar results?
Definitely
What are the Iv’s on ur Ampharos
6 14 12
Don't Blind switch guys, lol 12:39
why not change ur focus blast → Dragon Pulse
I have both now. Pros and cans. FB helps against snorlax and late game against swampert. But dragon pulse is good against giratina
Whats the I.V of ursaring
Is Ampharos better than Electivire in this league?
Probably cause of volt switch
Togekiss is pretty rare than a legendary, too bad I keep getting trash babies from eggs
Babies are not in the eggs anymore, only riolu in the 10km eggs
Need to wait for next baby 2/7km baby egg event
I just fought this team and it had nothing on my team of: swampert, A-muk and Articuno.
can somebody explain what anti-meta means
meta mons are ones which are powerful (and hence are spammed by a lot of players), the team he has built will work against most opponents you face.
That ampharos 1 shot me last night
..lol
We need a Nerf to ancient power to just 1 stage increase
they just nerfed it, but damage wise

Amprohos with dragon pulse would be a great counter to giratina
It loses still, dragon pulse is pretty weak and Giratina is too bulky.
