Hi Ken - I'm using the latest version of Camtasia 2022 and I have used the pan on some text with a custom animation but when I right click I don't see the Linear option - I have the following options: Exponential In/Out (who knows what that does), Bounce, Spring, None and Auto - any clues what to use for the smoothest pan?
Hi ARIIA, thanks for watching. I know some of the features are different depending on if using a Mac or PC. I'm not sure if that's the difference. I just went in to Camtasia and mine still shows the linear option. In place of that I would use the auto.
@@learningzen it’s heic format from iPhone…..something apple is doing on iPhone to save space. Images have to be converted to jpeg. Setting in iPhone have to be changed to most compatible.
No matter what I do, mine will ONLY animate the scale, but not the position of my image. I do 3D animation so I know how this is supposed to work, and it's not doing it. EDIT: Found it. There's a "toggle one/all" edit button up there it doesn't tell you about. EDIT EDIT.... (last one, I promise 😹) on that second example would've been perfect to illustrate the "Bounce" easing for those who aren't familiar. 😸
@@learningzen Until about a week ago I would fiddle with Camtasia 8. I have a rescue possum with his own channel ( youtube.com/@SwampKoala ). But since he started getting an actual fan base, I decided maybe I should actually put some effort into it. 🤣 It's a HUGE jump from version 8 to 2022... but I realized it's a workflow quite similar to Photoshop and Blender 3D. It's just going to take a minute to learn the workspace and all the different features. 😁 I'm SO glad I found your channel. I'm going to be spending a LOT of time here! 😂😍👍
