Evil Panama is a good song as well. Overplayed and every guitar player can play it, but still a real good song. Girl gone bad is great. Overall the album is quite polished and pop friendly.. Without drop dead legs I would've agreed with alot of people that the album is bubble gum.

look man..just practice everyday..you gotta get that muscle memory and finger strength..also you gotta have your hands work together, learn skills like how to chunk(basically taking music and you group pieces together..this makes remembering songs much easier, i suggest watching Ben Eller on this topic) also..learn a little bit of music theory in general..gives you an idea on how timing works, once you get over the basic skills like knowing notes and scales..apply chunking, and practice like an animal and you too will be able to play songs like this

My opinion, one of the top 5 greatest solos Eddie ever created. Unbelievable melody that transitions into a masterful solo and then to a fade out that leaves you hangin/wishin for more. Totally awesome dude! I am a guitar player and musician who covers a few Van Halen tunes myself and Drop Dead Legs is one of their best tunes and one of Eddie's favorites as well (in his own words). The outro solo is absolutely phenomenal and you displayed amazing mastery and command of all of the parts! Absolutely kick ass!
One of the greatest things about EVH is his use of open strings. There is something about what it does to the overall harmonic structure of his songs that elevates it from damn good to awesome. I love Ty Tabor and Alex Lifeson's playing for the same reason.

Totally awesome dude! I am a guitar player and musician who covers a few Van Halen tunes myself and Drop Dead Legs is one of their best tunes and one of Eddie's favorites as well (in his own words). The outro solo is absolutely phenomenal and you displayed amazing mastery and command of all of the parts! Absolutely kick ass!

One of the greatest things about EVH is his use of open strings. There is something about what it does to the overall harmonic structure of his songs that elevates it from damn good to awesome. I love Ty Tabor and Alex Lifeson's playing for the same reason.
