UPDATE: thanks to everyone who pointed out that we left the fire hot. We really didn’t. We dumped about 15 litres of water on the fire just before we left and what you’re seeing is a combination of steam and some of the hotter larger wood smouldering under that water.
@@journeymanadventure On the other hand for commercial operators the answer is YES you can fly in Parks Victoria managed land, however, operators will need to apply for a permit and obtain permission. Permits take around 2 weeks to process and fees apply.
