      Thanks a lot. Just finished the new OLEDiESP PCB and it has some features not seen on other ESP8266 boards. Hope to have them ready in the next few weeks. Meanwhile I am working on code to be used.

      Awesome. Glad to hear you are continuing to tinker and make improvements! I sent you a question on the "tindle" site about the Gear Indicator. Im really considering grabbing one of those and the voltmeter.

    hi! nice to see your little oled modules! but im interested in one in particular, the tachometer for car use. If you are interested i know a circuit that allows you to connect a arduino into ether the neg- on a car's tach signal or negative trigger of the charging coil in a car ignition system. Which works on 95% of pre obd-2 cars out there. if your interested let me know or DM me!

      Thanks, I actually have a code like that too and you can switch between 6 different displays including a 1/4 or 0 -60 sprint timer that works all by it self, no need to push any buttons. Would still like to see your code and will send you mine. You can see it here:

  • @Ncky

    They are just into there hand connected with air wires instead of avr?

    • @iHayri1
      @iHayri1  7 років тому +3

      Almost, there is still a voltage regulator, 2 caps and a resistor on my PCB to be able to run it safely from 5 volts/USB and the ability to upload code with my USB adapter and lastly being able to mount the OLED display. I used solid wire so the ESP module is mounted rigidly in between the PCB and the OLED display.

    • @iHayri1
      @iHayri1  7 років тому

      Actually I first thought about using ESP modules with my OLEDiUNO PCB but did not like the way I had to solder them and decided to make a new PCB called OLEDiESP specifically for the ESP-07 and ESP-12E modules with an integrated microSD card reader and other features. They are finished from the fab house and are on their way. Will put them up for sale on Tindie as soon as I get them.

    • @iHayri1
      @iHayri1  7 років тому +3

      You have to take the time into consideration when making these, I hand solder and assemble each and every product, and believe me there are way more expensive items out there.

    • @nightmareinaction629
      @nightmareinaction629 7 років тому +1

      Hayri that makes more sence since they arent mass produced there is a lot of labor going into it and also you have to make they work its undertandable
