I've been receiving a ton of comments on the video wondering where the face reveal is. It's been filmed and needs to be edited. It took a lot of courage to film and I'm anxious about editing it. I needed this SO bad! My hundreds of ponies (im an addict XP) all have messed up manes and look a little...raw. Thank you so much Alice! Keep up the good work, and my ponies thank you too!
Yes. Yes. YES I do have hundreds of mlps, and seriously, I have a huge H&M bag stuffed with ponies and accesories that's its over flowing. IK!!
I use baby shampoo on my ponies. It helps untangle and keep future tangles at bay, and while the manes and tails are saturated in the baby shampoo I brush through them from the ends to the roots as I find that helps to smooth the manes/tails and make it easier to wrap around the legs or the neck without stray finicky pieces wanting to be a pain lol.
What about wetting the hair with warm water, putting in and lathering conditioner/shampoo then wash it out, brushing the hair gently starting from the ends working my way up then style it however I want?
I remember watching this when I was a kid😭I even downloaded this one for me to watch it offline,I miss this❤️

i actually just brush my ponies hair , then I mix water with shampoo and dip their hair in . After that I brush it through until its perfect .

Hey Alice, and everyone who sees this, if you take baby powder (or talcan powder) and mix it into your dolls hair it makes not greasy! It also lightens the hair to give it a pastel kinda look! :D hope this helped!
I tried that with my pinkkie pie brushables, it turned out good her maine started to look like fluffy and bouncy.
I watched this video already but when I did I heard that fabric softner worked well with the ponies plastic hair...I thought what else has plastic hair? My monster high dolls!! So I grabbed all my monster high dolls that had really bad hair from being in a box and got my mom to do the same thing that she did in the video to fix the frizz and it worked ...I was so happy to find out that fabric softner helps get rid of frizz and helps fix pony hair. I didn't know if it would work on my monster high dolls but it did. I also did the same with two ponies I got that were used before I got them though the ponies hair is slightly uneven because they were used...

I thought I was the only person that brushed from bottom to top! I do that with my own hair too.
LPSwild I do that on my hair but didn't know it could make a difference on ponies' hair too!
I DO IT TOO! From top to bottom is just really weird to me when I try it :/

Toto Dog it hurts worse when I tried top to bottom on my own hair so I just stuck with bottom to top...

Back when I collected mlp I used this trick all the time, I read it on some blog. I'm really glad someone is finally making a video on it. A suggestion I have is to put the mix in a spray bottle and spray their hair while brushing through it. I had this G3 that had horrible hair and was able to fix it using this.
It pains me to see that people are more concerned about Alice's face reveal than the actual accomplishment of reaching 100k. In my opinion, this is what we should be celebrating in the comments in place of nagging and complaining. Congrats Alice! You have worked hard!

Thanks alice!! Just bought a frizzy haired meadow flower pony from dollar store and i tried this it WORKED!! i used dawn dish soap instead of fabric softener and it was still great! Thanks a ton for uploading this! Gonna do rainbow dash next!!

PopsiCoolToys that also works for monster high dolls. My mom tried it on my monster high dolls because their hair was worse than any pony in the video. So if you have any monster high dolls you could use the same trick if needed..

I'm struggling with washing one pony I have in particular that I've had for the longest time.
Its a Princess Lily Lightly doll, she's electronic and her clothes are irremovable. She has stencil in her hair which is absolutely annoying and would probably make this process worse. I've had her for so long and she still lights up and works, I don't want to damage her, I just want to fix her horrid hair. :(
I'm almost 19 now, so its been a long while since I first got her!!
