Great job! Something feeling the feedback from the rope is easier than not using one. just slow it down and count or talk aloud. Helps connect your body to brain for timing. ;-)

Can you please do 'How to avoid double bouncing while criss crossing?" I can't do the basic bounce. I can cross and uncross but only while doing double bounce. Thank you for the vid, btw. It helped me in less than an hour to learn.

This is a great tutorial, you're workouts are awesome but your tutorials just as good. FYI, I would have 100% bought a gratitude rope but I already had a crossrope.

I've jumped for 4 months everyday and was still having problems being consistent with this move and only with a coated cable rope. I watched your videos yesterday on this and have it down now within a few attempts with a crossrope 1/4 lb rope. Great explanation. I'm able to do the criss cross jump and then stay criss crossed and jump again and switch back and forth. Yay!!! Thank you!!!
For some reason the rope never creates a nice smooth arc after I cross my arms. I’m using a PVC rope and I don’t know if my rope is too long for this skill because the rope always seems to tangle in front of my feet. It’s so weird because I’m mastering quite a few foot work skills but can’t seem to get this right LOL

Definitely better and easier to start with both feet together like you’re saying. As you get more comfortable you’ll naturally be able to do it with alternating feet. 😉 great Q!

You shouldn't have to jump higher unless you're doing doubles. It might be the kind of rope you're using to why it's getting tangled. Are you using a wire rope and what do the handles look like? Often times its the type of rope that's not good with crosses or side swings.
Jump Rope Mom I feel like I’m rushing so intend to jump higher and kick my legs back (dolphin). How do I improve this ? I tried going slow and just do one cross then jump and the jump is better like how I would when i do a normal rotation but when I combined the both I rush. I was using the buddy skip rope and today i practices with the cross rope 1/4 pound so I can feel the feedback better.

haha I think we've all been there ;-) That's why it's best to practice with out the rope to get your rhythm and jumps down then add in the rope :-)

It's probably your rope. Check out my vid on why you're tripping. It help explain what ropes are not good for crossing or side swings. :)
