@@CinemaSans Why does it suck? It's my favourite of the Trilogy. The Light Fury was badass and adorable so glad Toothless finally got a girlfriend. Grimmel is the best villain, Astrid got more to do, the Hidden World scene was gorgeous and the ending was the most emotionally satisfying ending to a Trilogy ever!

@@HarryThomasPictures @Harry Thomas Pictures It was visually pretty and had a good finale. Yet it doesn't beat the first movie in my view.
HTTYD1 had better characters and relationships with Toothless, Astrid and Stoick. In HTTYD3, Astrid and Toothless just follow their partners. Valka being Hiccup's mother doesn't make any difference. The side characters (even the conquerors) are stupid and annoying. Grimmel doesn't kill humans so he's only half the threat Drago was.
In HTTYD1, Hiccup drove the plot. In HTTYD3, the plot drove Hiccup. The events in the first movie are more logical, and the scenes have a better flow. There are amazing scenes throughout the film that never leave you bored.

I guess you could say Hiccup shooting an arrow at the boat was….an amazing shot as well
And also Stoick's speech at the Funeral. It was all so emotional.
My favorite shot of the trilogy: When Toothless dives toward the Red Death as the camera follows and closes in until unleashing his plasma blast as it cuts to the next shot of the Red Death falling over from the blast as the camera shakes violently.
I wished you included the shot from the first movie, when Hiccup is falling into fire and Toothless flies to save him.

Ngl this trilogy is one of the only instances where they take 3D animation and give it the spectacle of a 90s classic disney animation or reminiscent of prince of egypt. Other movies today have pushed 3D further but there is no denying that how to train your dragon stand on top for its beauty and attention to detail
4:41 My favorite shot from the second movie. It perfectly encapsulates the films's conflict for control of both the dragons and Berk. The Bewilderbeast and Stoick are both the alphas in their respective packs (dragons and humans), and they are now fighting their evil counterparts for control. In the end they both lose of course, but, ultimately, it's not the biggest and most muscular who win. Instead it's the smaller Hiccup and Toothless who triumph over their larger opponents and become the new alphas.
The animation looks so realistic
The music is quite amazing and epic for this animated film trilogy

Ray Moon- Hello there. I'm just curious. Why did you think the clips were "color corrected"? Do the films appear to have a different color palatte of a sort on your devices when you play the movies?
@@Silver54ful Yup. When I first watched this on PC it had a very vibrant colors. But when I watched it again on mobile it was a bit dull. Might be because the screens of the devices are made of different panels.
@@raymoon6614 That would certainly explain it. There is undeniably a more muted coloration aspect in my laptop as well compared to when I play the films on Blu-ray. I wonder how it will come across color-wise if/when the the films are ever converted to the 4-K setting?
