South Korea confirms talks on AUKUS pact with US, UK and Australia | ANC

South Korea held talks on joining a part of the AUKUS defence deal between the U.S., Britain and Australia, Defence Minister Shin Won-sik said on Wednesday (May 1), only weeks after the pact said it would hold formal talks on Japan's entry. AUKUS, a two-stage security pact formed by the three countries in 2021, is part of efforts to push back against China's growing power in the Asia Pacific region.

The Philippines won't be invited mainly because of its lack of $$$, technology contributions, let alone the country cannot be trusted in keeping secrets from China. Just offer $$$ to a Filipino and secrets won't be secrets anymore. Just look at former president Duterte, he sold the country to China.

Very dangerous, We are not powerful country, pag sumali ang pilipinas.. at pag nagka gyera ang U.S vs sa ibang bansa for example North Korea wala tayong magagawa kundi sumali sa gyera, at once na sumali na tayo nasa listahan tayo ng North Korea (example) na bobombahin. Kaya mahirap ang mga ganyan. Buti sana kung mayaman ang pilipinaa tulad ng japan at south korea.

Just look at the mess the Philippines is in to begin with. Maybe only if the Filipinos are willing to volunteer as a human shield in the front lines then I think they'll be accepted to join. Hahaha
