I was thinking count the items like pairs of socks etc when packing the items in the bag for delivery. Have a ticket in the bag that breaks down how many pants, shirts, socks sets, etc. I’m very structured and to avoid this I’ll definitely go the extra mile. People hate missing items.
If you're a contractor (1099)...usually yes. You can start tracking the moment you use your vehicle for work purposes. So if coming from home. Can start mileage when you leave home to the customer. Then to the laundromat. Back to customer. Then finally back to home.
victor this is a great video, I have questions: where do I buy laundry bags that come in 3 different sizes? and how do I keep track of customers orders? and is there a laundry computer software that I can buy?
You didn’t talk about the liabilities you take on when you take possession of someone’s property, even temporarily. What kind of insurance policies do you have in place?
Why not offer all different types. You might have a customer who would just like to pay a flat one time fee or student customer from college that would pay for a subscription fee. It all depends on where you are located at and it does not hurt to test the waters to see what works for you.
How do you make money when you have to pay the laundromats? I’ll want it to be profitable, but how will I get paid when my payment goes right into the coin-op?
I think starting out as a new business you should use your own washer and dryer so your compnay would be more profitable. Im thinking after you wash others run a wash of bleach and water afterwards for disinfecting purposes.
You earn revenue based on what you charge by the pound and how many pounds you wash. Your expenses would include what you negotiate with the laundromat for the use of their machines or whether they'll charge you full retail price, detergent, bags, supplies etc. Grow your revenue by marketing, prospecting, getting more accounts and washing more poundage. Revenue minus expenses = that's how you 'make money'. Build the business. More poundage. Buy a truck. More poundage. Hire an employee. More poundage. Buy your own laundromat. More poundage. Another truck. More poundage. More employees. Some years from now and you've built out an organization.
Thank you so much Victor. I just lost my job (like many of us) and now trying to figure out how to start working for myself. I appreciate your content.
Hi, savvvy did you get yourt business started? if you did where did you buy laundry bags? and how do you keep track of customers orders ? and you using software?
Did you do marketing? I am in a suburb of Richmond, VA and there are no laundromats. I myself love the laundromat for quilts or dog towels and thought of opening a service or laundromat for busy moms who want quality time with family and to cut chores. How do you test a market? BTW, I'd set up a pre-pay system for the lb bags. If it is filled great, if not, you'd still know income
It has been awhile since I ordered custom logo laundry bags but there are many places online that offer. You would just have to Google it until you find the best price on laundry bags. I can see if I can find out who I ordered through.
@@VictorNichols EH! Thank you Victor that would be a great help, I have two more question for you if you don't mind. 1.) How do I keep track of orders? 2.) Is there an laundry app to get paid or POS machine?

If someone was new, why would you ask and why would they subscribe right away when you've delivered no value? Its a bad question to ask in the beginning.
@@varionturner6796 in my area, the only people who don't own and washer and dryers are people who can't afford one. There are few businesses that do this around here but it's mostly for dry cleaning. Although there is a little business for regular laundry as well, but not a lot. Big cities would fare better than smaller cities for sure.
Your video was great! It would be more helpful if you identified the average costs for products. I appreciate your help.
Now a days people pay with credit debit or check. Give us some insight on the pos systems that's out there. Pros and cons....
Thanks for the very informative video! I'm glad that you started producing videos again. Keep up the good work, Victor!
You put EVERYTHING in perspective in such a short amount of time. I promise you’ve answered every question I had❤️thank you
I got lucky nobody is providing that service in my area
How did you get started?
How did you build your clients?
How’s it going?
Should we charge for delivery?...by percentage or flat rate?
How do you make a profit if you're using a Laundrymat? It my area they charge $7 per machine
I asked the same question 😮 woow. Like i am stuck at how much i should charge per pound
What about problems like customer blaming you for lost sock or something?

Have u ever had problems with allergies or the type of soap u use ?
I would suggest that you asked what soap they prefer.
what about location? I do not own a laundromat, so how can I operate?
How much profit do you make once you take away expenses like gas laundromat money and washing powder?
How I can find the system for process the payment and I want to know about custom my laundry logo on the system.
Great info. Question though...how do customers get the bags for the first time?
they can get them when you pick them up - no other way really
If we did different size laundry bags would you suggest selling the bags to them so that the sizes are the same all around?
Can I Track mileage from my home to the clients pick up? Or just from client pickup to laundry mat?

Its illegal to put mail inside of people's mailboxes-just an fyi. U have to send it thru postal service
Good point. You can use door handle hangers though, just not anything placed inside or through an official post office receptacle.
This was a good starting point! Thanks!
God bless you my brother! Praise Jesus!
How much would you charge?
You shared so much valuable information in this video. You are a generous person.
Not a lot of people think about this but it’s pretty stable and scalable here in vegas and utah

Do you sort the clothes so you’re doing many loads for one customer?
Do you need a biz license
