Both work! 😂 Disclaimer going into this: I watched someone else play this last night (he was the content creator who introduced me to SoD so fair enough I'd think) so I've seen some of the new features but he didn't get a kidnapping case so hopefully I get to see that with you instead! I heard about the cover-up missions but haven't seen them either. From what I've heard they occur at higher social ranking so I do wonder if Willy is going to be less likely to encounter them because of the short game (I guess I'll see!) Yeah, I come here about once every three days, more or less 😁 I like the burgundy idea, nice theme. Dude sounds like he's trying the male equivalent of turning up in white. I don't remember if security rooms have passcode notes anyway, maybe just domestic houses/workplaces? (Yay for side drawer passcode note!!) Yeah you can lol I love how excited everyone is getting over being able to drag bodies lol I won't spoil anything too interesting if I find it out before you, but if you don't find out later on you can also buy from street stall vendors now. Scientist is new :) "Wait, I'm on the wrong floor!" - Didier's brother right there lol I love how they didn't change that you eat the splint lol Lol, so they don't just automatically gun down partners any more? Good, although some interaction would be more realistic lol I wonder how the kidnappings generate in real time... Like, do the kidnappers touch the victims and the victims disappear and respawn at holding place? Do they casually walk or sprint together? Is there an animation of one manhandling the other? I like how "you should cheer up" as multiple different possible responses. We've seen (at least) three this episode. Lucky you were looking in the right direction! I swear there's an option for photographic evidence placing the killer at the scene... wonder if you could have dragged her back over to the victim and snapped a shot lol Oooooooooooh new clean-up mission! With a choice of options too. Kinda cool, but a bit odd to be solving murders and then covering up one- suppose it depends on the roleplay the person has been doing up until this point. Calling you... about a body you've already solved and from a person you've already arrested? Sounds a bit bugged? Good luck in the fields, Willy!
I did also laugh at the naming panic at the end. I've apparently spent too long on the Internet when I wondered where "Hugh" was going 😅 Looking forward to Detective Dun'nit's run! The one single bad pun braincell has come up with a potential suggestion for a future detective... Something like Isaac Dereham ("Derr-um" or "dare-um" in Brit English) so he'd be "I Dereham". Maybe even "Dereham-Hall" if he's feeling posh 😂
I'm glad to see the enforcers aren't making more victims at the scene, though it does give me the thought of how cool a double homicide would be. A victim and a partner, sort of playing into our 'false trails' before where maybe Victim A is targeted due to a work disagreement, but Victim B is just unfortunately there so crime scenes have multiple bodies. But if you chase down VicB's work and stuff, you won't find anything. I'm hoping this next season lets us really explore the 1.0 new content and all that!
