@@VoidedEyelids If you both start playing the game at the same time, both without prior knowledge, that is an equal playing field. Knowledge acquirement is part of the challenge of a competitive game imo.
So the issue with that is both of them are correct, and in that episode both of them are absolutely horrendous at arguing their point. Jon is coming from the perspective that this is gamegrumps they never practice the game beforehand. Thus learning the rules of the game are part of the game. Arin is arguing from the point of a competition. It would be like if you were in a figure skating competition where you went in and had no idea what the judging criteria was. So you and your opponents just did random things to see how the judges reacted. Like yes it's a fair even playing field, but that's not what the competition is really supposed to be about. And then both of them failed to actually make a valid point cause Arin just got mad and Jon just dug his heels in. Funny episode and a great example on why being right is less important than being able to clearly articulate why you are right.
Both were correct in a way. Arin sounded too demanding hah. Probably made Jon go from "maybe I'll tell him how" to "naahhhh good luck sucker" in an instant lol

"You gotta make a statement. You gotta look inside yourself and say, 'What am I willing to put up with today?'"
"Well, certainly not _this."_
"DID YOU POINT?!" Is still one of my favorite Arin rage-isms of all time!
how to understand something nonsensical according to Arin: say the same nonsensical phrase 5 times in a row in hopes the subject suddenly gets it
All these years later, I still can't believe Jon fucked over Arin that hard in Nickelodeon Guts
I wouldn't say fucked over
Arin was just buthurt when Jon figured his shit out before him
He didnt fuck over arin, arin just sucks and refuses to experiment with controls lol
The Dan Salvato level rage is priceless!

SHE GOT THE JACKPOT AND 1 MILLION DOLLARS IN 2 SPINS

@@lolight2 oh yeah that makes more sense
