Hi!!! Below is my short Bio
I am a Chief Engineer by profession.
I have been sailing for the last 14 years. Passed out from MERI Kolkata in the year 2008. Joined Seaarland Ship Management as an Engine Cadet, over the course I have sailed in the past with British Petroleum and Anglo-Eastern as well.
With the help of YT Channel Merchant Navy Decoded and the website www.merchantnavydecoded.com, we are trying to make this profession more transparent. All our endeavors are towards promoting good shipping companies, good colleges and sharing updated information about the same.
There are so many myths attached to this profession and so many fraudulent activities operational that sometimes even students with good backgrounds land themselves into bad Shipping Companies. Im currently studying in 12th grade.should i go for the sponsorship exam now or after 12th ?
As you just said, you should go for the sponsorship exam before attempting IMUCET. Then how can i apply for maersk sponsorship exam and how can i prepare for both sponsorship and imucet exams
Hi,
You are eligible for August Batch 2024 so if you want to do B.Sc Nautical Science Course then you can fill the form of AMET with MAERSK sponsorship after IMUCET Exam but you should match eligibility criteria for MAERSK with your PCM % when your 12th result will be declared.
But For DNS yes you should apply sponsorship exam before IMUCET and MAERSK doesn't publish sponsorship form for DNS student.

2-does maersk stopped giving sponcer ship for dns ?

1. Yes it is okay you are eligible.
2. Maersk is not taking DNS students, they will only take B.Sc nautical science and BTech Marine Engineering students.

Does maersk give only cadet ship after bsc in amet with maersk sponsorship....pls reply sir
They give before not after.
So first you apply for Maersk ,you get sponsorship and then you join AMET maersk
