i have the fsport exhaust and fsport intake on my car. it sounds more like the toms racing does tbh. it's on my channel for those who want to hear it. No other mods at all.
Invidia sounds more raw but also still tame. I have both the Invidia mid pipe and axle back and its a good exhaust, I've recently switched to a Remark muffler delete and its definitely less tame without the q300 mufflers.

Why do V6s sound so sucky? The inline in the 01'-05' IS300 sounds far better. Do the. Vs need a 6-2-1 system?

Just put the Borla S-Type on my ‘21 IS a little while back. It’s the perfect level of volume over stock in my opinion
