I just love your channel Gina. I’ve been binge watching your videos since I found you. I love this dress on you. The print, the ruffles, everything! You’re very talented and have such a great eye for fabrics.
Wow, you’ve got such a good eye for beautiful fabrics 😍 Thanks for the video, really helpful to hear an experienced sewer talking about having made mistakes in their work, or fixing items they’ve had for years. It’s what we all do, but not what everyone will admit to. Love your beautiful last dress too btw! Again, in gorgeous fabric 🤩
Loved this video so much Gina ❤️ Firstly I loved how your dress turned out! It looks beautiful 😍😍 I also just really loved how you shared your items that no longer fit and need altering or things that you just decided weren't quite right and need some adjustments. I'm quite new to sewing. I started about 2 years ago but have had two babies since then 😂 As you well know... Time for sewing is limited under those circumstances so I've not made loads and it's really helpful as a beginner to see that not everything is perfect first time. Or even that of course having had 3 babies your body has changed and therefore so has the fit of your clothes and what you need from them now. This video was so refreshing to see. Thank you so much for the time you put in to make this. I loved every minute ❤️ You are definitely one of my favourite UA-cam and Instagram accounts to follow ☺️ Can't wait to see the sewing room tour and Christmas party pattern ideas! ❤️
I loved this. I have been taking things from my existing closet full of thrifted clothes and redesignIng things that aren't working for me. Thanks for the inspiration!
Love your orange dress all the little elements work so well together! I love that you are doing some reworking projects. Honestly, those ones always take the most energy from me to get started but I always feel so good once I've reworked something into a wearable garment. Can't wait to see what you make next!
Thank you so much! They really are hard to find the motivation to start aren't they? I definitely prefer a refashion to an alteration though! I think the navy floral viscose twill one is next up on the sewing table, I think I might rework it into the Marsha Style Sia dress, just got to figure out if there's enough fabric in that bodice 😬❤️
Very inspirational to see what you plan and have done with some of your makes - not everything turns out perfectly but like magic we can adjust things to work for us ❤
You look lovely in ALL those dresses! I too have narrow shoulders and a sway back and am only just discovering how much some sewing patterns need altering…..if you’d consider a tutorial on either I’d be very, very grateful! As too would I seeing how you tackle your alterations…I have a draw full to do but just don’t know where to start. Thanks
Your pretty rust flower shirt, if you make that pattern again you may want to size down one size. If you do you may need a bust adjustment but think over all shirt would make you happier.
Could you do a video on how you change a zip pattern dress to elasticated? This sounds perfect. I have a scar on my spine sp don't like wearing zips. They're also just not as wearable to me so I'd love some help with this. Thanks❤
Absolutely I can! I'm planning to make a dress soon with an elasticated back hack so I'll film the process 🥰 they are so much more comfortable to wear ❤️
Thank you Emma, when I was watching back the footage I thought some of them looked fine but in person I'm still not 100 percent happy as much as I don't want to alter any of them 😆
Thank you Sue that one is a me made! It's the Alissah Threads Valdivia sweater pattern made in a Higgs & Higgs cable knit. It's one of my favourites, planning on making another one this winter but I'm struggling to choose a colour 😆❤️
Hiya! It's the Alissah Threads Valdivia sweater pattern, it's an absolute favourite of mine. I'm planning to make another soon, it's so lovely to wear. Highly recommend ☺️
Hello Gina, the orange dress suits you, it’s a lovely length. What was the white bit that you were sewing onto the fabric towards the beginning of the video, is that elastic? Tx :)
Hi Karen, thank you so much! Glad you like the dress ☺️ I'm sewing on bias binding to use as channels for the elastic in the sleeves, normally I will make binding out of the dress fabric but I didn't have enough of this so just used what I had. Hope that helps x
Hi. I'll be happy, if you can say your size measurements. I have body size like you (I think so). My english is bad, I'm not hater, I hope my massage not offend you

That is so kind, thank you so much for watching Louise 💗
I love the dress. Absolutely gorgeous, and the print is amazing ❤
The colours in that dress are amazing on you 😍 love the ruffles everything about it is perfect 🤗 I love it, tempted myself to get the pattern x
I think the new SOI Estelle would be good for Christmas! Can't wait to see your video for inspiration!
Great video
Love your orange dress. I bought the same fabric a few weeks ago, so you have really inspired me to get it out and make a start.
I love it. It’s timeless.
Thank you so much 😊 I've worn it so much already, it's surprisingly easy to style!
Hey I just discovered your channel. Love your style!!
Welcome! Thanks so much for watching!

Oh that would be fantastic, thank you. Love your channel xx
All you need is a fedora to match the cowboy boots! What about the Style Arc effie top or Joan top for the leopard. Both have room for changing body.
Ooh yes!! Thanks for the pattern ideas I'll go and check those out now ❤️
What about an Ogden Cami for the leopard print dress. I think they all look great. Shows how we see ourselves...
Thank you Emma, when I was watching back the footage I thought some of them looked fine but in person I'm still not 100 percent happy as much as I don't want to alter any of them 😆
Love your dress.Could you, please, tell me how you buy fabrics etc. from Mood when everything is in dollars?Do you then have to pay shipping fees.
Love the blue top you are wearing at the beginning, is that a pattern or rtw x
Thank you Sue that one is a me made! It's the Alissah Threads Valdivia sweater pattern made in a Higgs & Higgs cable knit. It's one of my favourites, planning on making another one this winter but I'm struggling to choose a colour 😆❤️
Please don't blouse the slip dress.
Make it a Cami, you will get heaps more wear out of it as a cami. A super quick fix!
You are gorgeous!🌺💗🌺😄✨💗
Hi what pattern did you use for the blue puff sleeve jersey you are wearing. Love it and want to make in a green jersey I have in my stash.
Hiya! It's the Alissah Threads Valdivia sweater pattern, it's an absolute favourite of mine. I'm planning to make another soon, it's so lovely to wear. Highly recommend ☺️
Thank you! U r the best.
