    I'm wondering if there's a similar situation in ASL. Are there any similar academic projects to develop scientific signs?

    Oh, BSL! I'm another American learning ASL who was confused for a second. I should study BSL.

      Are the ASL signs similar? After watching this did you learn them?

      @@clairee4939 both languages use similar conjugation, syntax, and hand shape, and share loan words

      @@TJtheHuman Actually BSL is quite different but yes some similarities. I know because I speak BSL Lol. I watch lots of American signed videos with subtitles and learn some ASL. I am just curious if you learned the ASL signs and wanted to encourage you haha😝
