You make this look so easy. It took me over an hour to pry the front bezel off lol. I was able to fix mine following your great instructions. My W2453V was a little different but not too far off. Once I got it opened I discovered 4 bulged caps. After replacing them and the rest of the caps it powered right up. Easy fix and this was my first time soldering anything. Thanks for the great video.

Great instructional, I only needed to remove the back cover to get rid of the stand and this made it so easy, thank you.

Thank you very much for your Video. It helps me a lot with my lg Flatron w2452t. It is not the same screen, but very similar. I discovered three puffed Elkos. After replacing them it works as great as on the first day. Thanks a lot again.

Thank you very much for these three videos which have helped me greatly to target the problem of my LG W2753V-PF.
My monitor does not want to light at all since I turned it off a few days ago. It had been more than two years that I was forced to let him turn on H24 7/7 to overcome this problem. But a friend has unfortunately turned it off and I couldn't boot it with the same technique.
I should receive the capacitors tomorrow so I would come to write another message to tell you if the screen works. In any case, thank you.

Hey man, you can use plastic card (like credit card - but not your credit card...lol) to release the clips from the outside edges - corners. I tried with my fingers but it hurts and I was ready to give up. Thanks for the info, great videos!

Very nice video. Your video makes it look very easy. I have lg 42lf20fr. Problem - When I start the TV it turns on, picture displays for 3 to 5 seconds and then the TV goes back to standby mode. Power LED remains on. It is like TV has been switched off. Any idea of what can be the causes? Thanks in advance.

Hello,i saw your repairing video of the LG W2753V monitor and i wonder if you can help me.i got the same monitor at a flee market for 20 euros, it was tested "briefly" on site, when i got home and turn on the monitor, i realized the image goes like blurry, like if colors setting weren't right, but i checked and double checked and everything seems ok, i had also installed the monitor's driver from the lg site itself, then uninstalled it believing that was causing the problem, but still the same.

Video worked but the part where you're removing the screen edges on the front hurts like a mother. Once you wedge it open on the outside use a flathead screwdriver to slip and twist your way around. Good tip with folks with pencil pushing fingers like myself.

don't ever use a screwdriver or a knife or anything but a pry tool.

This procedure doesn't work with the LG 31MU97-B. Only two screws on the back, the rest is snap fit, but I can't seem to pry it apart.
Mine failed after a power outage today. It's only 14 months old. Won't turn on. No sign of life. But getting it apart is more challenging than troubleshooting it. I don't want to destroy the plastic to get it apart. Doesn't seem like this was made to be repairable. It's a $1400 disposable 4K display.

i also tested it on a different pc and this time i used the vga port, same story, the monitor does stays on, but the image goes blurry and shaky, as time passes it gets worst,if i turn it off and back on again the issue disappears, but after a 10/15 seconds it comes back again. any ideas? thanks for your time.

He's using his fingers to pop off the front cover, but you can use pry tools. Probably this belongs to a customer so he doesn't want to leave marks on the frame. But if your working on your own monitor and you're not fussy about it use pry tools.

I have an HP25bw. They are bezel-less just glass on the front. I get the screws off the back but because there is a square hole with a lock symbol I can't seem to get the back off. Could you please let me know what I need to get this off?

Ok so i replaced the power board my lg because i am horrible with a soldiering gun. most likely need to take a good short course. i got the board on ebay. and i am getting same issue. it turns on and very shortly turns off. it does give a picture. now i am either wondering what the issue is. Is it something called the tcon board that needs to be replaced. I just know i am tired of getting now where. I've replaced a power board on another lg monitor with the same issue and it works perfect.

Tried to do this, broke my monitor. Jesus such a terrible design. Really liked the monitor itself though.
