Hi there, I have used the Playmeo connect tiles twice in the last week. Both sets of clients had a great time putting the puzzle together. And there was a lesson for me, too. In both cases the client wasn't quite done at the official start time. And insisted upon finishing before we began. They were fully engaged and had to solve the problem
Hey Jen, your experience mirrors mine - most groups insist that they complete the Connectiles team puzzle before we 'officially' start. Thanks for sharing.. the real things will be out early 2025.
Hi Mark, probably the activity I use the most as an unofficial start as a human bingo game. I really like it because they must interact with people they don't necessarily know well in order to fill their bingo sheets since most people want to be successful they typically get after it in a very fun and animated way. I've also had success with Large Scrabble tile pieces, bananagrams. I simply ask the group to create a crossword that includes everyone's name. It creates a really cool visual, tends to spark creativity, and that shared goal making sure everyone's name was included.
I love it Jen, both of these activity ideas. And your scrabble name idea is much like what I call Crossword Names > www.playmeo.com/activities/ice-breakers-get-to-know-you-games/crossword-names/
Wonderful. 🎉. I will try this. I used to wait for most, if not all, to arrive. I would start late by ~10 minutes many times. Once it was 18 minutes over 😂.
Oh my, that is a long time to wait. If you view as an opportunity lost, you'll quickly get inspired to consider prouductive and purposeful ways to engage your groups, and before you know they'll be motivated to turn up on time.
I like tying the "unofficial start" to the main content - brilliant! Do you also offer virtual "unofficial start" ideas other than answering questions in the chat? Really enjoy Playmeo!
