That was pure domination. Djokovic had no break point. That is brutal. No idea how he managed to get a set, but in the end this was complete destruction.
In Italy we have been waiting for a player like this for decades. No, since always. The last 20 years, in particular, have been really poor with satisfactions. At the beginning of 2019 I decided to watch one of Gianluigi Quinzi's last matches (for some time this guy seemed to be really promising), a quarter-final of the Bergamo Challenger, hoping for a final comeback. Well, on the other side of the court there was this skinny 17 years kid who I had heard about as a talent but had never seen play before. I couldn't believe what I saw, he literally made holes in the court. The growth has been quite gradual (more then Alcaraz, just to say), and surely he still to improve phisically and on slower surfaces, but since at least 6 months we can finally say: WE GOT OUR TOP PLAYER. FORZA JANNIK
Both?? Djokovic has played his worst match in a slam since time. I am italian and I am proud of Sinner, today Jan has been very solid but nothing more. I have never seen Nole made those unforced errors with the backhand. Maybe only with Sonego in Vienna :)
Jannik Sinner is one of the competitors who carried out the revolution in the men tennis by overpowering 10-time champion Novak Djokovic. He has basically demonstrated a more valiant, intrepid and relentless performance than Djokovic, not showing any break point and solely dropping one set along the whole tourney. The mobility and compliance of Sinner definitely advanced in accordance with the previous periods. He keeps inspiring all tennis aficionados and fans with his development.
@@aleksandarjokic5083What? Jannik has beaten Novak in November for the first time, so the fans started cheering him in the last three months?😂 The truth is the young guys are great and fans like both, many Novak fans really like Sinner also, because his tennis is similar
I like Djokovic bur I am glad a guy is winninf who is calm, cool and collected. Doesnt abuse the umpires, smashss racquets, fights with the crowd and his box. Maybe the era of good sportsmanship is coming back?
Djokovic is also getting older and we will see more defeats like this against much younger players in the future. But I think he's still capable of winning grand slams.
I believe the first two set performance of sinner's really choked Djokovic. Djokovic always had the taste of taking the initial lead in crucial matches. And after the third set tie breaker. Sinner was not merciful with the weight and depth of his shots. A new champion 👏
Djokovic committed 54 unforced errors, because Sinner got in his head already before this match, based on the ending of last season. He can say what he want in the press conference about his worst performance in GS history, his level was impacted by the fact he knew he had to be top notch to beat Sinner.
Today's game for Djokovic was like 2020 RG final. There was NO WAY for him to beat Nadal then, of Sinner today. NO WAY! Oppnent in both occasions was just too good. Nadal was even more dominant back then, here Novak took at least 1 set . This dude is amazing - he almost never loses TB-s, even when he is outplayed . TB comes, he finds the way to win it. This is Novak's last season at the top @ 37. Next year the age will catch up with him. He is NOT done yet.
This is more than a statement by Sinner. Djiokovic losing in his favourite ever court (33 consecutive victories on that field) being dominated (in history, Djiokovic but as Federer and others goat of the past, no one was ever dominated in that way by anyone, not conceding them any break point). Sinner did something legendary here.
Even though its a highlight I thought Djokovic would win the game after the 3rd set lol Only get to show how strong he has been over the years Massive congrats to Sinner, what a day for him, will cheer for him in the final!
The 4th (third won by Sinner) set was definitely terrific. Jannik at that moment turned out to be some sort of hybrid between Federer, Nadal and the same Djokovic!

Sinner is the fkn man , about time one of the new gen reached a certain level to take Nole out of a GS especially his favourite one
Jannik, we wish you MAXIMUM success in the final!
Hello from Ukraine! ;)
Thank u, he will beat the russian 😈
SINNER WOOOOON!!!😭😭😭☝🏻🇮🇹
That was pure domination. Djokovic had no break point. That is brutal. No idea how he managed to get a set, but in the end this was complete destruction.
Sinner in Stan style 💪 fearless attack and total believe in yourself - that's the way to do it 👍
In Italy we have been waiting for a player like this for decades.
You have austrian now.
@@dushandvr5765 shut up, now. He's italian
@@Sh8ye0 Ahahah, damn this triggered you.
So beautifull… some COMFORT for 2019 Wimbledon final
The first player to ever defeat Novak not conceding a single break point in a complete Slam match.
Enerjisi çok yükse ve muhteşem maç. Sonuç ise en güzeli. Sinner 👏👏👏👏👏👏
High quality match from both! Well done Sinner on your first slam final. Hope you win the title!
Both?? Djokovic has played his worst match in a slam since time. I am italian and I am proud of Sinner, today Jan has been very solid but nothing more. I have never seen Nole made those unforced errors with the backhand. Maybe only with Sonego in Vienna :)
Both?
Jannik Sinner is one of the competitors who carried out the revolution in the men tennis by overpowering 10-time champion Novak Djokovic. He has basically demonstrated a more valiant, intrepid and relentless performance than Djokovic, not showing any break point and solely dropping one set along the whole tourney. The mobility and compliance of Sinner definitely advanced in accordance with the previous periods. He keeps inspiring all tennis aficionados and fans with his development.
Como fan de Alcaraz, también debo serlo de Jannik
👍the opposite is also true
As long they beat Djokovic, am I right? So many disguised Fedal fans now rooting for Sinner and Alcaraz.
@@aleksandarjokic5083What? Jannik has beaten Novak in November for the first time, so the fans started cheering him in the last three months?😂 The truth is the young guys are great and fans like both, many Novak fans really like Sinner also, because his tennis is similar
Il sacrificio unito al talento… FORZA ITALIA FORZA JANNIK
I like Djokovic bur I am glad a guy is winninf who is calm, cool and collected. Doesnt abuse the umpires, smashss racquets, fights with the crowd and his box. Maybe the era of good sportsmanship is coming back?
Djokovic is also getting older and we will see more defeats like this against much younger players in the future. But I think he's still capable of winning grand slams.
Sadly I don’t think
@@silviamarelli7143 Why not? you can't say that he'll never have the chance to win a Slam again because he lost a semi-final xD
I think he gonna be huge favourite to Wimbledon at least.@@supernemesis5244
Orgoglio italiano 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
Congratulations to Sinner, from hardest No1e fan. Respect, he played 🔝. Deserve the AO 🏆.
Italians should be proud 🇮🇹
Certainly very proud 🎉
Also Tennisfans from around the world! - as an Austrian; fingers cross for Sinner.
Forza Jannik!!
I love Djoko but Sinner was just insanely good here and I appreciate his no grunt tennis!
I believe the first two set performance of sinner's really choked Djokovic. Djokovic always had the taste of taking the initial lead in crucial matches. And after the third set tie breaker. Sinner was not merciful with the weight and depth of his shots. A new champion 👏
L era degli anni 80 è finita oggi...... Sarà la più leggendaria di sempre
Concordo
Forza GRANDE Sinner !
Please can we take a moment to applaud Djokovic for his sportsmanship at the end of this game!
The Sinner-Alcaraz duels in the future will be epic
Fabulous tennis from both players !
Sinner found the key how to play against Nole. I had this thoughts already after ATP Finals. Respekt, comes from a Nole Fan.
Bellissimo bravissimo sublime furbo veloce fisico giovane simpatico astuto.Cosa posso dire di più..
Impeccabile
Grande Sinner..next Number One
Sinner's swerving forehand were a nightmare for Novak today. Fantastic win for Sinner!
24 GS is the Record, lets go Sinner and Alcaraz, see you in 10 Years.
Quanti italiani qui a vedere gli highlights? 🇮🇹🙋♂️
Il giovane leone spodesta l'anziano capobranco. Vai Jannik!!!!!
Sinner is playing an alien tennis ! unbelieveble . Much more stronger than Joker, Rafa o Roger at the same age !
Jannik and Carlos will dominate in the future cant wait for future epic battles. Congrats Jannik!
Carlos not sure bro
Who Moaning crying Carlos??😂😂😂
@@MegaAndrea0000 the Wimbledon champion against Djokovic, yes.
@@matowest696people and media is crazy, he won already two slams and is 20,give him a break

Even though its a highlight I thought Djokovic would win the game after the 3rd set lol
Only get to show how strong he has been over the years
Massive congrats to Sinner, what a day for him, will cheer for him in the final!
Яник шикарен! Удачи в финале! Ты заслужил этот титул!
Sinner is now able to feel comfortable when tennis gets brutal. This is a gift.
The 4th (third won by Sinner) set was definitely terrific. Jannik at that moment turned out to be some sort of hybrid between Federer, Nadal and the same Djokovic!
As a Sinner italian fan i would like to say that it is a fu..king SHAME that the final match is only on pay TV!!! First time since DECADES that an Italian player is in a slam final ( last One was Adriano panatta in 70's) and nobody was able to let us watch It!!!!
It's not often you see Djokovic try to overhit the ball so much. I think because Sinner hits the ball so powerfully, Djokovic was trying to match him but that's not really his usual game plan. Great to see how well Sinner and Alcaraz are doing. Looking forward to the final... against Zverev most likely.
Zverev ... lmao.
@@unsertrefflicher4678😅
I’ve probably never seen Djokovic hitting the ball as strong as he does when playing against Sinner.. crazy what that ginger forces Nole to do
Jannik can become one of the strongest tennis players ever. Where are the "is it just a moment of form?"
Obviously he is better than Nadal, Fereder and Nole together ...
@@unsertrefflicher4678 I said one of the...not the strongest
It's Jannik Sinner the new number one!!!
I'm still shocked. I love Sinner but had little hope. I was sure Djokovic would blaze through to the final.
nah 🇮🇹!!!
No hype around Sinner and I cannot understand why. By far the best tennis player in this tournament so far.
MAMMA CHE HA COMBINATO CHE SERVIZIO CHE GLI FATTO TERZA VITTORIA, PECCATO SOLO PER LA FINALE DI TORINO CHE NOLE NON DOVEVA NEMMENO GIOCARE! 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
Grande Sinner, ma anche un grande inchino al grande campione serbo, da anni in vetta... È un bel passaggio di consegne tra due campioni, uno sul tramonto visti gli anni, l'altro all'alba di una grande carriera.....
Joker - "sinner is playing tennis of his life" lol as if he cant play better. Bro he is just getting started and u aint even seen his good tennis yet, the better and best are yet to come
