Why is Zeisan so into her teachers?
A theory I have is because she doesn't have a lot of noble friends and doesn't feel like she belongs in that scene anyway so she feels an attraction towards her teachers who came from humble beginnings or from outside the Fire Nation high society.

If this is true than those benders make the red and white lotus and all the other top tier benders look like chumps. Move the sun,control the weather and produce islands and sink islands. This is so much lore and world building.
This is a unique and interesting approach they took with the fog and the island that I like.

Man that artifact of the crown prince reveal. 😮 I weirdly feel more betrayed by Sozin over that than him leaving Roku to die. 😅 I guess because that scene always made it seem like Sozin did have a good heart at some point and was selfless/generous to his dear friend in the beginning. But nooooope. I think just from the prologue we can see how Sozin is a bit of a selfish character, looking at everything through the lens of how it will impact him and not really considering what Roku is going through. Even with the letters, Roku is sure Sozin will have sent him some, but would he have sent many at all if Taiso hadn’t instructed him to? All the things he values about Roku as a friend he isn’t giving back in return. It’s a great character study.
That’s pretty funny that we’re starting to establish a pattern of Zeisan dating her tutors/instructors. 😂 I guess she has a type.
The island reveal is very cool. I’m excited to see just what Sozin ends up finding. From the little glimpses of the Epilogue here it looks like I was maybe on the right track about resources and industrialization being something the nations want/fight over.
Disha reminding Roku that he is Szeto, Yangchen, etc. before his speech. 😂 I guess he channeled Kyoshi because she wasn’t great at that stuff either.
