Little tribute to my fave female character in the Grishaverse. Let's just say I cheered like crazy for what's in store for her because I always liked her from the start. (It doesn't mean I fully support every behavior back then but if the main character is as blank as Al*na, I can't really judge her for it. Especially because her loyalities lies with the Grisha and so we stan this Queen.)
Also, Zoya Nazyalensky is the Nesta Archeron of the Grishaverse and you can't tell me otherwise. :D
Little warning: I actually ship Zoya with Juris because KoS just gave me so many feels with them. Don't get me wrong - I still like Nik*lai but expect also possible edits between them if the show gives any hints or some kind of chemistry. :D

It is amazing, sweetie! Especially considering her lack of scenes in the show. I never expected to see such a relatively long video about her. It is awesome that you managed to do it! And it turned out so awesome! I guess, if she had more screen time, she could be one of my faves as well. And the song choice was perfect! It really suits her sassy style. The only thing I don't like about her, is that I'm incapable of reading, writing and pronouncing her last name. Lol xD I'm not really used to Russian-like names, even tho, I listen to some Russian songs for a while now, but I never can read those names, especially, cause most of them are written in Cyrillic. xD And I have to say, that I agree about Al*na (you wrote her name that way, so I assume it's safer, but I didn't know that they could block these videos). Anyway, I'm reliefed that I'm not the only one that doesn't really like her. I mean, I don't hate her, but she's not that interesting and like you said, is pretty blank and so boring. She's not that awful, but nothing special in my opinion. I like that you made a video of Z*ya. And I don't know who is the character, you ship her with, cause I didn't read the books, and I only plan to read the duology, because the first 3 simply does not interest me as much, and the latest 2 has something in them, that, when I asked someone about it, before I decided to watch the show, and I explained her, what could trigger me, she said there is something similar in the new books, so I'd rather not, but I would be interested in them. Back to the video, I really loved the "you fall" lyrics part for when she sent away Al*na with her powers. It was so badass! But the first scene of the fight, the one without powers was even more amazing in my opinion. She was so badass with those moves. I also like how the ship scenes fit well with the sea metaphor in the song, especially, cause black sea, and it's the darkest place in their universe, so the word "black" also really fits! Oh, what I also planned to say is, I just got distracted that I don't know the character you ship her with, but I probably must be the only one that ships her with the D*rkling. I guess, it's just because I usually cannot not ship a couple, where the girl is so into the guy, and I keep rooting for those girls for their love to be returned. I guess, it's because for some reasons, I can really see and imagine myself fall in love in an unrequited way, even tho, in reality I never was actually in love, so idk why, but I really feel like I can relate to these girls. xD Maybe because of the lot of many platonic crushes I had through many years with guys, who didn't even notice me. But those were not love, so I can just imagine, it is much more painful, if you're actually in love with someone, who doesn't love you. Anyway, back to the video, once again, I like the "I don't obey" moment with her trying to seduce M*l, and then in the end, when it's even more obvious, when she literally doesn't obey to the D*rkling. And I also love, how she is ready to push away Al*na with her powers in one moment and in the next, there are those big waves that were meant to destroy the city, and all these with sounds, it just all fits perfectly. And I almost forget to mention the start with the ship and how well the lyrics suited it! And the whole video is just so perfect! And thank you for making a quiet long edit about her, and especially with this song, that I always liked! It was a pleasure to watch. Also, I literally can't wait for the next season, lol. But these edits make the wait so much easier. But still, I so wanna see more of this show and its characters. I hope we can see more of her and also of Kaz and Inej and their past. I also really liked Jesper, he was so badass and funny. I love the whole crow club and yesterday I kind of accidentally went to your faves playlist and saw a lot of Kanej vids in it, but I haven't seen a single N*na and M*tthias one, so I have to ask, you don't like them, either as characters or a ship, cause I really do! I ship Kanej and them from the show, mainly these 2 couples. And I really like N*na as a character. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's okay, if you don't, I'm just a bit afraid to admit it to you, knowing you possibly don't feel that way. xD Idk why. I mean, I know you accept different opinions, but I'm just afraid to not agree with anyone, who is family or friend or something like that, in anything. I know, it's stupid tho. But if you like maybe hate them or something, then I'd feel so bad for liking them. Ik... I'm stupid. xD Not like it matters, we already have one ship in common and we agree about some characters, so yeah. Anyway, sorry, I went so away with this, but I'd just really like to have someone to talk to about this show. I wish we could still talk in private and then I would not spam you with all of these in my comments. Anyway, the video is fantastic! (Btw, can I ask you that you maybe did not see my comment on your new Holly and Artemis video? I just don't want you to think that I ignored that video, because it is one my faves!

@@DarkEleni You're welcome! And thank you for making it! Cause it is really awesome and yes, so glad, we both prefer Zoya over Alina. Oh, okay, I got confused with the names, lol. Yeah, I get what you're saying with Zoya deserving better, but I just literally can't not ship any ships, like that, but the 'enemies-to-lovers' are also one of my fave tropes. I like this and that, too, and probably some others as well, that right now can't come to my mind. I'm so glad to hear, you like Nina, she really is such a fun character, and so glad you also like them together, for me, I actually ship them, but the Darkling and Nina sounds such a great possibility as well. I wouldn't really think of it, except from a few times, when they said, she worked for him. And yeah, sorry, I know that you would not judge me for things like that, I just... idk... I'm weird. xD It's I guess, just my own insecurity. Anyway, don't worry, it happens, I just didn't want you to think, that I didn't comment on it!

And don't worry, it wasn't harsh. :)) Oh, it's too bad, if they never interacted, but they still sound like a good idea. I hope, I can read the duology as soon as possible. I guess, I already decided that I want to, now I just have to find a day, when I can go into a bookstore to buy them. One of them, my mom promised she would buy it for me as a very late birthday gift, because back then I didn't ask for anything, and the second I'd probably buy from my own money, but I also have to buy a computer, and since I don't have a job, my money just gets less. But I REALLY wanna read these books, it's so rare for me to find a good story, that I could read, so I guess, it's worth it. Also thank you for understanding!
What a nice idea for Zoya ! Black Sea, with the Fold, I'm weak for such a great matching lyrics :D I enjoyed Zoya in the show lol I keep heard about how Alina is blank and unbereable in the books, which scare me a little bit to actually read the books because I really liked her in the show (but guess it still worth it for Kaz and Inej lol). Anyway Zoya is a very good character already in the show and I'm sure she's even more interesting and great in the books and this is a wonderful tribute for her!
Thank you! And, haha, yes, that's true! The lyrics match in such a funny way and I just couldn't stop thinking about this song when it is about the Fold. You know, the other term "Unsea" was translated in German with "Ödsee" which is actually a sea in Austria as far as I know and so my thoughts just wandered. xDD
I really wouldn't recomment to read the original trilogy if character traits is what you like. Bardugo actually did a great work in world-building and wrote it in an enjoyable way but the characters just leave a lot to be desired. Also, the Crows are not in the original trilogy. They only appear in the duology after the trilogy and also have guest appearances in the Nikolai duology after that. But the trilogy also has some plus points with characters like the Darkling (and the Darklina scenes are also packed with chemistry), Baghra, Nikolai and Zoya. And, of course, Genya's trial scene in the last book (which is the only good thing about the last book if I am honest because plot-wise 'Ruin and Rising' was a dumpsterfire) is also amazing. I wished I could say more positive things about the original trilogy but I just can't - especially compared to all other Grishaverse books.
Show!Alina is actually is big improvement already of Alina as a character. I also hope the show keeps it that way because a lot of my dislike for her is also for decisions she makes starting from book two (though, I seem to be the only one bothered with those certain things :/). I would really love to see the show portraying it better or change it because I also feel like the actress of Alina has a lot of fun playing her and I would wish for her character to get better writing in the show. :D

Yeah I heard A LOT of negatives things about the original trilogy, I think I will read it because I'm curious to discover it but I don't expect anything from it at all, I do ship Darklina A LOT in the show, and I'm just ready to know that the books will be disappointing next to it at every levels, from what I heard, it will be more for curiosity, some scenes that I could perphaps imagine for them, that I will read it.
But I actually started with the duology on Kaz, because I heard much more good in it, and because I needed MUCH MORE of Kanej, and I like the beginning of the book so far (even if I think it wil not be a big favorite either, but Kanej feels GOOOOOD).
Really ? this intrigue me for these decisions you talk about from Alina in the books, eh, I will come to talk to you about it when I will be done with the original trilogy! But I heard it too that the Alina from the show is much better than from the books and I hope they will keep her like that, I wouldn't want to see her become painful, since I really love her :/ and yessss I'm glad to heard that for Zoya, I really enjoyed her :D
