DUELING THE WORLDS BEST GEOGUESSR PLAYER UNTIL I WIN (feat. Boky)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 10 лют 2025
- In this video, I'm playing Geoguessr duels against the (other) best player in the world, Boky. You guys really enjoyed this format against Stique, so I thought I'd bring in Boky, because he's considered the other best player in the world. As you can see by the length of this video, this one took me a while, but there were plenty of great moments along the way. Be sure to stick around till the end to hear a short post-game interview with the man himself.

Video with Boky: 39.5 mins
Who do you think played stronger?
Both!
You
boky goat
@@Geostique stique moment
@@Geostique too humble ur a little better
The dark green mailbox at 35:37 is a typical Dutch one that you will see in rural areas of The Netherlands. I believe they are required where the mail delivery person would otherwise have to walk more than a certain amount of meters from the road to the front door. The shape and color is the same in the whole country I believe.
I like these insights
"They are young guns, they're much younger than me"
That's so strange to hear that from someone in his 20's :)
I think Zigzag is 22 and both Boky and Stique certainly *sounded* older than that, or just sounded like people who should never attempt doing UA-cam :)
@@michaelwisniewski6047 huh
@@michaelwisniewski6047 Im pretty sure they are both around 15-16. Most goats in geo are in hs.
The Italian round at 27:30 is near the city where I m born and live (Reggio Emilia) and that strange mountain cut in the top is the Pietra di Bismantova (Bismantova rock) a very distinctive mountain for turist and hike.
a true juggernaut of the sport
Wow! I'm from Argentina (Buenos Aires, tbf) and 21:50 really surprised me as well. I also would've went for Arizona or New Mexico. It really shows just how diverse my country can be!
Also, 25:17 REALLY looks like downtown Buenos Aires, so no shame in there :)
PD: You'll see "restaurant" in Buenos Aires much more often than "restaurante" (spanish for restaurant).
I knew it as soon as I saw it, if you went to Salta and Jujuy you'll see stuff like that. The crazy thing is you drive 50 km and you're in the middle of the jungle (yungas)
That Stique x Boky contest final was incredible. How they managed to pinpoint that one Russian road so quickly just blew my mind. Absolute GOATs
They're really just super good
They played against each other? :O
Where can I watch this?
^^^ I’d love to watch that. Is it on youtube somewhere?
The entire competition, including the finals, is on Rainbolt's youtube channel
just fyi, there used to be a big copper mine in falun, sweden that produced a lot of copper. after it closed, the pigments from the copper have been used in the red paint you see on a lot of the houses in sweden. this along with the orangey tiled roofs and thick white corners, beams and windows is very, very common in sweden
this was such an enjoyable watch!! loved this video because it’s some high competition along with great commentary
mindblown at his 4:20 brazil guess. what a skilled player.
thx
Yeah man that was efin wild:) im watching it right now
You played awesome man. Dont underestimate how much harder it is while you trying to record and talk at the same time.
Good point
As a Finnish person I was pretty sure that round starting at 17:10 was in Finland (and it ended up being Russia near Finland border). It was just the trees, bushes and grass that looked so familiar.
that canada 5k round was nuts
😱 so next time have Stique and Boky on the same team and let’s see how long it takes to win 😂😂
Or you
@@winterforlife nope i don't play
@GeoRIP 🤣in for a nice long video then
Yeah all the cheaters 😂😂 Including yourself
Lmfao he’ll get held hostage for hours 😭
This guy is insane, I assume that he must play many hours so there must be points that have already touched him before and he has a good memory, in addition to knowing all the possible META hahaha
On the Michigan round, the key to recognizing it is the two women in headscarfs. Michigan is one of the few places with a sizable Muslim population that looks like that.
do more distance battles with other pros plsss
I'd like to do that
@@zi8gzag He's not the best but certainly not the worst, but I'd recommend you ask @JackSucksAtGeography for a duel collab.
Good idea peter
@@ipad4948 but Jack actually sucks, so what's the point?
@@ipad4948 That would be way too easy for Zi8gzag. Jack is definitely a below average player.
This is gonna seem silly but I wish when in full screen mode it was easier to hit the like button because I find myself at times binge enjoying your content and forgetting to hit the like button as often as I should. Love your stuff though and I do when I do so yeah
19:48 you what now :O haha
hey im from vermont! this is the first time seeing my state on geo.
Cool! I’m from Maine and have only seen my state once.
There are five languages in Spain. That on 25:01 was Catalan.
Thanks for giving people tips and tricks ❤ learning so mush
Dude you gotta keep playing like your in the lead. Confidence is key. Once it’s gone your always gonna second guess.
4:47 I play every round with you and got 5000 on that one, cause I live 30 seconds away from there lol
Distance duel is the best!!!
Perhaps you want to do a duel in the map that you're not good at against someone from that country and at the same time, the opponent (or yourself) explains the meta/or tips on the round.
Like US duel against Chicago Geoguessr, Indonesia against Kodiak, Japan, New Zealand, or Brazil maps with someone.
Anyway, great video as always.
the mewing faces in the thumbnails getting stronger
Big fan of this especially since I always thought a lot of the top players talent was just memorising rounds in ADW, but since you're playing on the new community world map that cant really be the case im just bad.
In the Spanish round, restaurant, is restaurante in catalan
1:50 Michigan has a really high muslim population so those muslim people walking by, paired with the general feel and architecture, made me guess michigan in my head...I was surprised that i made a guessed correctly because i'm usually bad with stuff like US state streaks, even as an American
Next one of these has to be with RC
I would have guessed Michigan simply because at 1:56 there are two muslim women in headscarves and Detroit and Dearborn are known to have muslims. If there were front plates I would guess near Chicago or Minneapolis. Also that overhead walkway is typical of places like Chicago and Minneapolis which get blisteringly cold during the winter.
Goat 🐐
surprised neither of you recognized Taipei 101
Getting the exact road on such obscure countries is unbelievably sad but brilliant at the same time. Great content 👏
Could you elaborate why it would be sad 😭?
You should play against rainbolt
How did a swede miss the danish language «til leje» which means «for rent»
I was wondering the same thing! That should have been the most obvious round for a Swede.
He's probably not even swedish
i first thought belgium as well, because the license plate of the first car on the right looked like it had red text. honestly pro players often dont look at language anymore since reading anything takes more time than going for other visual clues and boky is trained to guess super fast. so i understand his guess
28:35 looks like an eye in the sky
Literally with Taipei 101
Boky: guess Taichung
I don't care he's the best he isn't for me
Yeah, it was quite a fail not to spot that.
dont really see the point in panning around in such small countries with that much health left
Boky moment
nice video 😁
We do have double white lines in Italy
Theory zi8gzag is going easy for content
Next put two of them together , boky and stique I mean :D
Tip: if you see anything that looks some what fun never go South Carolina 😭 we ain’t got nothing down here
Really good video
Could u try to sometimes explain a bit more why u pick the country/area u do?
@@Matthew_F yeah i get that
I guessed spain at 25:40 I am so much better then Zigzag
Wow!
how the fudge is he so good at brazil
Desert = Nevada in my book, so I would beat you in that round. It's not important that you would beat me in all of the others
Wow! I could se where i lived at 37:30
25:43 We don't, I guess it's just to make it look fancier
16:37, how is that possible? Can anyone explain?
He's played so many games that he's very familiar with many regions. I've watched him play in various chatguessr streams and he remembers all the repeat rounds he's gotten, especially very rural ones. He's just extremely good and experienced.
Yessss
This should be fun
🤩🤩
when will you make the 10k special video
1:19 I think that bollard is a good clue to what area u are in the USA. I have only seen it in Nevada, Iowa, Montana, and Washington state.
4:00 how the hell did he get that exact road in Brazil??
throw the Colombia and Canada guesses in there as well, I suppose
players like boky/stique usually recognise the state Acre and then use the road angle to line it up
It seams like when Boxy doenst know where it is, his PC just "crashes"
I took pics when it crashed cus knew people would comment this 😄
@@bokyxd 😂
Anyone know how or what key zi8gzag uses to lock his guess in? It sounds like a space bar? I'd love some info if anyone knows!!
yep! spacebar
@@zi8gzag Thanks for the reply! So is it like a custom script or macro or is it intrinsic to geoguessr that space bar works to lock your guess in?
nope they just added it last year
nice
25:41 its catalan
