@SSC3034 I get a lot of girls and I have been driving Peugeot all the time I have had my driving license. (6 years). I have owned 405 Mi16, 205 GTi and now I'm driving 106 GTi (my wifey wanted something more civilized /comfort than 205 GTi :D )
@@FicaGTI 106 GTi feels like a small car, where as 205 is a small car that feels a lot bigger when driving (suspension parts are about the same size as 405). Handling-wise I prefer 205, but that's not to say 106 is bad - 205 just is so damn good. 106 compares very favorably to the Japanese hothatches of the era. Performance-wise 205 and 106 are very similar with just a slight tuning. 106 GTi has surprisingly high top speed for a 1.6l NA car - I recorded 211 km/h to GPS with just CAI and exhaust mods. 106 gets great MPG too if you keep it relatively stock. If you find one with a reasonable price and condition, I would say go for it!
@@Jinppa Thank you for your answer and insight, I have always wanted 205 gti back but recently prices have skyrocketed, so if I find clean original one for reasonable price, I will go for it. Regarding surprisingly high top speed, as I am aware they(106 gti/saxo vts) always show more power than declared on dyno, so that can be one part that contributes to this. Best regards
