Have a 1946 pace. My wife has a collection of vintage sewing machines. I clean them up using a kerosene to remove the old oil and grease. Would I be able to use kerosene to remove the old grease and oil without doing any damage. Also is there a manual showing oiling spots.
WD-40 will, over time, dry out and cause mechanisms to seize up. It can be reapplied to a seized pivot point and will dissolve the earlier applied WD-40, but after time the same thing will happen. 3-in-1 will dissolve the WD-40 residue and will not dry out.
