Seriously. Free upgrade from v3, and v5 is absolutely amazing. I got v3 for $39.99 on sale a couple years back. Great value indeed.

arturia has really been redeeming themselves the last few years. when they released that original beatstep and it had so many issues, it seems they did the right thing and focused on quality and practicality. just about anything from them is amazing now

A midi controller seems an obvious choice for sure, or a desktop module hardware synth, but talks to vst when plugged in like the minifreak would be great, but with lower price for those who already own Pigments.

I paid full price for Pigments a few years ago and I thought at the time it was a bit expensive. Now I'm more inclined to say it was actually cheap :)
Arturia is what satisfies me the most at the moment, I use both their software and hardware products and I can only speak highly of them. the only problem I have encountered, myself and other friends of mine who have a large group on Facebook, and 90% of us, have found that the Arturia guys never respond!
I wrote and we wrote several times under their videos and directly in their emails from their website and nothing. they never answer! if you have a doubt or anything to ask, relax, they will never answer you. or maybe when they do it will be a miracle. I believe in kiracoli because I am a 100% believer.
we'll see if they respond!
In the meantime, let's make the sign of the cross!

It wouldn't have mattered if you purchased it back then. Arturia would have given you the update for free. I purchased Pigments 3. Since then I've gotten 4 and now 5 for free as an upgrade. Can't beat that

what's with my updating to Pigments 5 and the rest of my Arturia software that Software Center recommended and now NOT HAVING ANY of MY PRESETS?!?! i have no Factory presets....none of my User presets...and none of my 3rd party prests....zilch...all gone...all myc collections. most bogus update i've EVER encountered and you guys....i guess you'll get to me when ummmm....you're finally ready?
At this point I feel like Arturia is that girlfriend that does too much for you and now you feel guilty lol
People...I purchased *Pigments* *3* Not 4, but 3. I got Pigments 4 and now 5 as an upgrade.

I didn't even pay full price for pigments. It was 99 and I got it as a special for 69.99 for my birthday gift to me.
I feel like I got more than I paid for and should clean up the office of do dishes of something to make up for it.
I tried to hate Arturia. I just can't. They've beaten me into submission and now it's name now occupies 70% of my gear.
The Microfreak upgrades....ridiculous.
The durability and functionality of the Keystep 37....how...why? the after touch in that little keyboard..insane.

The luck I have to be thinking about getting this synth like... Last week, and now it's perfectly on sale. I know my current laptop is gonna be sweating bullets trying to operate this thing, but once I build my new PC, we'll be all set for a new journey with this.
cool free update, all it needs is a micromusic vital AI clone for loading wav files and recreating them with basic waves, automation and fx

Generative sequencer is a great addition. Hopefully, they might think about adding Physical Modelling, like Objekt next. Because Objekt looks great, but I don't use Reason.
