See the diverse landscape of the Netherlands in 100 seconds. What was your favorite scenery from this video?
My favorite scenery from this video was the forest
Everything I like :)
Ok
Did Gordan Ramsey do the talking?

Hahahaha good one
The Netherlands is the first European country I did visit when I was young. It was a fascinating tour, especially the countryside. Since I always felt the Netherlands as my other country. People are very welcoming. Some of my family & friends have moved there. I wish I'll visit them & the country soon. Thanks for this amazing video. Greetings from Great Britain.

Always feel like GB is a extend of us, if i would emigrate, would be Britain.
@@ralzvy Good to know this, come & see our country, whenever you can.

@@DifferentSaturner I am Dutch and had an Internship in England for a few months. Me and my friend took our own bikes and there were like 2/3 people that came up to us and started talking about the Netherlands haha. They somehow knew they were Dutch bikes.
3 different people on different days I should add ;p I think a lot of English people have family in the Netherlands and the other way around
@@Potjandorie Yeah, your country is famously known to us as bike lovers' country. Most of us want to follow your example. About 20 years ago on this day I went to Amsterdam & that's my last visit there. Yeah, some of my friends have moved there & now they're citizens of your country too. You're right, there's a big community in West London where most people are from your country & Belgium. I guess more people live here than English over there.

1:50 is the cow running into him ? 😂😂😂😂
Dinii Villa look carefully, there's a fence between him and the cow.
I thought too
A cow maybe bull but it is coffee time and on with the walk. Good point collision .
I only cycled 6.7km from Leiden to Kasteel Duivenvoorde and I went past all kinds of forest, greenhouses, farms, villages, crop fields and villas. And it was just such a short trip in the most densely populated Randstad. Small but diverse is no joking.
No wonder people call the Netherlands a flat country, it really is flat lol
It isn't called the low countries for nothing
@@veroniquemaess The French name is "Les Pays-Bas."
Besides mountains, valleys, crevices, the whole world is flat. Earth curvature does not exist.
We have at least 2 mildly visible hills
@@whatstarsreallylooklike2944 That tired old joke might have been funny at one time, but most people with a working brain no longer find it humorous.

Ahhh, Holland is such an amazing country. Love the people there so much. ❤️
It's truly an incredible place. We hope you enjoyed the video!
_Holland is a provincie_
Yes holland is just a combination of 2 provincie, north and south Holland. whilst there are 12 provinces in the Netherlands
Funny! Calling the country Holland while the last image clearly says: In collaboration with Brabant Living Landscape!
Hollands grass is always nice bright green in the summer, the Towns and city’s are always cozy, so fascinating. so grateful to live here.
Brilliant. I'd love to see a series of these for every country you could do!
Dear Mr President, let me introduce ... :D I love Netherlands, greetings from Germany :)

Great format!
I’m Dutch and the absence of nature here is horrendous. The nature areas we do have are small, overmanaged and often very close to buildings and roads.
I've been living here for 2 months and everything around here looks so manicured which in return isn't the greatest for wildlife species. Still lot's of tree but nature seems to still be missing.
@@jamesjeon1956 Yes there is an obsession here with building and keeping everything ‘neat’

Bravo, I'm Dutch and I wholeheartedly agree.
Awesome video guys, problaby the best video i have ever seen so far about a country: short, well pointed and it olso has a message. 🌳
I really liked it when walking through the meadow with cows, they trust the walker as long as he/she keeps distance, than they get scared and run away, but their curiosity gains and they come after the walker to sniff him/her out.
AMAZING VIDEO!!
Beautiful Netherlands Country

Correction: it's actually 95 seconds..you owe me 5 seconds.
No worries, I'll type a reaction that will waste 5 seconds of your time.....
This an excellent idea! Are you gonna do this all over Europe? :-) It's really crazy how much land is used for growing food that we give to animals that we eat, instead of growing food... for us!
I do not like grass, makes me vomit. Rather drink milk, eat cheese and butter, and an occasional steak.
Sorry cow, we saved you from wolves, bears, lions, and aggressive ones of your own kind, gave you more time to live than nature would, we kept you healthy, took good care of your kids, but it's time to say goodbye, it will be quick and painless, I promise, and in a few years it will be my turn, and I'll join you.
Very nice

Netherlands speedrun 1:40 World record
I think my friends and I are gonna move there so it was very nice to see the country we will be living on for sure!
Super cool Video! If the concern is more space for nature, please do Indonesia in 100 seconds and tell us what you think. Plenty of vast lands and waters not to mention countless tropical trees, however you'll see the irony
Funny to hear people say we need more trees. :P It would be nice if they had focused more on the sand dunes. The largest nature reserve in the Netherlands (Veluwe) used to be a dessert. Big parts of the country were planted with threes for hunting grounds. Much of the original nature in the Netherlands got lost because of that. Nowadays they are trying to restore these areas by cutting trees, to prevent animals which live in heidegebied to die out. Shows how complicated it all is 🙂 if you ever visit the Netherlands, you should visit those regions at the end of spring it is really beautiful. Especially the hills around Overijssel everything is purple there in the spring :)
The ‘deserts’ you speak of aren’t natural. Neither are the heaths (heiden). Overgrazing with sheep was the cause of both. Before that these areas used to be forest of mainly oaks and beeches (eiken en beuken). If we’d leave the ‘deserts’ and heaths alone for a good while, then the forest would return.
we need more space for nature
Holland litterally means timberland, and indeed, most of the trees have been turned into timber! Let's bring the trees back now.
Wow very nice video love and respect from pakistan
Oh, I thought it said "Neanderthals", Got me excited for a sec
Sounds good.
Yeah we are one of the largest export countries for crops so little of it is to feed our own people.. if we would eat less meat so much could already be turned around.
The second largest foods in export in value, not in amount/tonnages. I do agree that we can reduce our number of cows and pigs.
@@Holland1994D Cows would make the biggest difference.
@@Holland1994D stop voting the pigs into office and the cows will get the hint. ;-)
@@Holland1994D its already happening with the cows there are alot less cows now. and there buying farmers lands to make recreational forests
It would be gorgeous if they did Ireland and Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England. There’s so much greenery and forest.
5% coastal mud flat
8% woodland
8% urban area
12% fresh water lakes
12% small fields of crops and cows and farms (and chicken and pigs that never see any daylight)
18% crops mostly for cows.
24% cows.
what am i missing here?
V far away want to see nearer n longer video from lndia

All i can think of is Jasper C. and tulips
Most of the land in NL is used for agriculture, there’s a ridiculous overproduction (meat, dairy) which exhausts and pollutes the land. Sadly the “natural value” of farmland has decreased a lot due to “industrial agriculture” the last century.
❤❤❤
Of the total surface area of the Netherlands, 54 percent is used as farmland. There are 100 million chickens, 11.4 million pigs and 3.8 million cows. That’s 115 million animals. The Netherlands has the highest livestock density in the world and the highest emissions of ammonia per hectare in the EU after Malta. So yes we need to reduce the amount of animals to cut nitrogen emissions in half by 2030.
