Interesting call on tension durability as Tennis Warehouse string comparison site say the Hyper G holding tension for almost twice as long . Tension Loss (%) 25(HG) 47(YPTP) 88%(change)
Poly Tour Pro is softer than Hyper G but it doesn’t offer as much spin potential. If you like the feel of Hyper G but are experiencing arm problems then you could try Hyper G Soft as well.
We feel that strings benefit more if you are looking for spin and control or power, but if you’re looking for something that will hold tension better out of these two then Hyper G will be good for you.
Great string review would love to see more
I use poly tour pro! Can confirm... great review!
I just tried it out Poly Tour Pro in this play test and I absolutely love it now! It’s a great string!
Nice. I use both as a hybrid! Spin from Hyper G and feel from PTP
Hyper G feels great in a hybrid!
@@rpmtennis4104 what do you hybrid it with?
What’s your setup?

What tension should I use I am 12 years old and play around 4-5 times a week
I usually use around 50-55 lbs but if you are experiencing arm issues then you can lower the tension, but I personally like the 50-55 range!
48lbs
What a good string if I play 4 times a week I’m 15
